Is there still a Rock-afire Explosion at Funstation USA or at Adventure Landing? The thought just came to mind and I was wondering if any of you guys might know.
Also is there a Fun Time USA Pizza still in existance with a Rock-afire Explosion?

I was wondering the same thing. Last I heard they were in terrible condition (aside from Adventure Landing, never heard anything about the bots there).

Adventure Landings RAE is long gone. I went there over a year and a half ago...and the show is completely gone.

Fun Station USA is in Staten Island, New York. I thought there was still a RAE there. I had heard rumors of it being in bad condition, but I didn’t know how bad. I just wanted to confirm it. They cant be as bad as Rock-afire Pizzas were! Those were just an embarrassment to the whole Rock-afire community... past, present, and future!!! I thought the Chimpy's Pizza Safari Rock-afire was in bad shape, doesn’t even compare! I do miss going to that place and seeing the whole Rock-afire gang in person and not on a computer screen on youtube... bad shape or not!!! Chimpy's had good pizza and curly fries too! Odyssey Fun World is good too but its so far! I bet you OFW's pizza is not as good as Chimpy's was.

Fun Station USA used to have a show set up, which looked pretty good from the videos I've seen, but now it seems to be scattered around their store, completely dead. They've got Billy and Fatz in cages with their masks sagging off, and Dook & Beach Bear sitting around looking like zombies.
http://showbizpizza.com/photos/rae/funstation/index.html
Looks like they're using poor Beach Bear for storage space.
From what I recall, Dylan (RAFE CEC Guy) went there and asked about buying the bots and the owner was very snooty and tried to charge him $14k a bot. I don't know if they still have them there, but I'm pretty sure they do.
Does anyone have any videos of RAF Pizza's show? I've only seen pictures, I'd like to see exactly how horrible the show was running.

Ohh thats right, I wasnt sure if they had one or two sets. I thought they might have had one whole set that was working and then just non-working ones as fillers around the resturant. I also dont like that fatz and billybob are in a caged area! A Rock-afire
character should not be isolated in a cage wasting away! They should be on a stage singing! Also are those characters in the playtubes? I mean to you turn a corner and see scary fatz standing there? I mean that would have probably scared the crap out of me when I was younger.

Its a shame how poorly kept so many of those RAE's are, sure they're creeping up on 30 years old but still... still kind of sucks to see them just treated like junk. You look at shows like Chris Thrash's and others, probably same vintage as these and they're running as good as they were back in their heyday. And given that their place's name IS Rock-afire Pizza, you think they'd do a biiiiiit more to keep it at least in decent shape, even if the underlying bots aren't really functional, even though I'd wager that if someone came in that knew how to fix them, they'd be able to run as good as new.
That's providing their showtapes aren't all fragged ...

Its somewhat hard to believe that some of those 3-stage shows are nearing or are at 30 years. What really should of happened for CEC shows is, if they had kept the 3-stage concept in all the stores, they should of had 2nd or 3rd generation robots and new sets. On the other had, I know moneys tight and it would have cost a fortune to do such a thing. The whole Studio C concept was to create something new, save money, and to bring the show in a brand new direction with only having the Chuck E. animatronics and putting the rest of the gang in a monitor. Also if Showbiz was still around all of them would have a New Rock-afire Explosion Show with the cool karaoke package. All opinion though...

It really saddens me about Funstation, even more so that only the restaurants that have no intention to care for or maintain or even respect these shows always seemed to be the ones that got them in the 90's. I want that Fatz so bad too...god he needs to be rescued and cared for, though I imagine by now he's been long tossed out, with all the paper plates and forks and napkins...it's a crying shame.
I'm glad though, more recently shows have gotten in the possession of people who know not only how to care for them, but are actually aware of and CARE about how important these characters are to alot of people out there. Wish it'd alAlot of people just assume nobody'd miss something or be saddened by its passing, and just let it go entirely.

The line from the conversation with the owner that really stuns me is "I'm actually selling him for $14,000. Maybe you can get your mommy to pay it for you." :l

Well, I am not trying to sound rude, but you ARE only 15. Not many kids that age can afford to just plop down 14K to get a Rock-afire............

Entire RAE's in GOOD condition go for under 14k. A single character in this condition definitely wouldn't be worth anywhere near that amount. The guy was just trying to be a smart ass.

Wow. People are just jerks.
I've read a couple business books and read form letters for fun and really looking at this conversation it looks like he was playing the "gracious and kind manger" then he put in the whole "mommy" comment for humor. He was probably hoping you'd laugh and make the whole thing less awkward so the conversation would be finished and you would go and play more games.
I really don't like this kind of business ethic. It's stuff like this that could bring the store down.

I don’t think the manager has the authority do charge 14k I think that has to go through an owner. I'm probably over thinking this though... lol

And? Back there I was being treated like a five year old. Everywhere I go I get treated like a little kid, and this is NO exception. In fact, this was the worst case. He not only said that line, but he also said it in a demeaning, hurtful, rude, and snooty way, and that's just disgraceful. Plus, 14000 is too much to pay for a mint show, let alone a run down Billy Bob. Read the posts better and get your facts right before posting.

RAFE CEC Guy: I have read the entire thread when you first posted it originally. As I said, I was not trying to be rude whatsoever in my response. It wasn't aimed as any type of disrespect at you, its just a lot of business people when they see a younger kid looking to buy something like that(which they assume you don't know anything about), they also figure its a dream of yours and that you personally dont have the means to make it happen.
Im 28 years old, and when I talk to Real Estate agents about buying aproperty for a business I hope to Re-Open someday, sometimes I feel like I get treated the same way.
And im sorry my memory isnt what it used to be. I seemed to think the 14K was for the entire show, not just the Billy Bob.
I'm sorry if i upset you. Totally not my intentions, nor was I trying to justify that the manaager talking to you like that was ok......
