Yes, but still this is GRAND news for all other Studio C's with curtains. I cannot wait to see the curtains once again!!! I sure do hope all MMBB stages will get their curtains returned. I REALLY do hope!!

It's been a long while now. All of the STC these days are installed without curtains period.
now they go back on it...
Negitive Pizzacam, If a STC was installed without curtains, that is the way it will stay.
I sure do hope all MMBB stages will get their curtains returned.
ummm... All I can say is don't get your hopes up with that one.

So since there are STC's w/o curtains, will Random Movements still be programmed, even with the shows with curtains?

Every Studio C has the capability to turn the random movements on or off. It's not a matter of "programming" cause the file already exist.

So certain stages have the option of moving with or without the curtain feature? And why can't we get our hopes up about MMBB?

because many MMBB stores have actually removed the curtains completly from the stages so if they went back they'd have to buy new curtains/tracks. not worth the $$$.

Did they really?!?!? Oh wow...dang it I really miss our MMBB's curtains. :(

Nope, most stores I've seen still have their curtains and tracks, they just don't utilize them anymore.
I'm bummed that our crappy store has to be one of the newer ones with the 'drapes' instead of the actual curtains. But at least I'll have a reason to visit other stores with Studio C again!
It's too bad about the Munch Bands, but I'm guessing it's due to a few reasons. One, because the bands are being phased out; two, because 2 or 3 stages are much more to worry about than a tiny Studio C; and three, the tracks cost tons of money to be replaced when they break down. I know at our old store with our 1-stage, when our curtains broke, it cost over $2,000.00 to fix!
Same thing happened to our store's former tech at his current store in Orlando a few years back...same thing, but his only cost $300.00. That's a big difference!

I don't know for sure, but I believe that it's coming soon. They already started with Pasqually. He has no merch, no posters, no nothin.' If they made Pasqually stuff, I'd buy it! And you can quote me on that. ;)

Yeah I like passqually, his jokes aren't always funny, but Jaspers reaction to his jokes are. Like in september 06(I think) Passqually tells a joke and munch cracks up and jasper says "Chucke, I'm Scared." To me that was hillarious. The one thing I dis-like about Passqually now is his voice. The old passqually voice (like in sillicon Valley) was way better! Now it sounds high pitched and fake (I like the laugh though:D ). Ya I would buy Passqually Merch. to, but they need some more of all the charactors!

Well, we know right now that most stores that are getting remodeled are just getting walls knocked down, new posters and decor, a paint job, exterior remodels and new games. Most places aren't trashing their shows from what I've seen. So that shows us that the band has quite a few years left in it.
As for phasing out the other characters...they tried that, ten years ago. It didn't work. Thus showing Studio C to be a failure. I remember when I first saw the Studio C show in Brookfield in 1998. I was like, "what the heck? Where are the other characters?" I remember that the show only had Chuck talking to the bird. It was lame. Chuck needs his pals in order to have an iteresting show. Now, eventually all stores will probably go to a one bot show, but I think we'll still see the band on screen in puppet form or wakaround.

That's EXACTLEY what I thought when I went to the new Brookfield store back in '98!!! Sure, Alpha is cool, but I imagined them taking the ol' 1 stage from Elmbrook and installing it in the new store. Man, that would've rocked!!!

That's exactly what I thought had happened at this store...then, when I walked into the showroom, I was quite saddened. But I didn't know a thing about Studio C before that, so it just didn't seem right. My brothers and I thought they just put that show in as a temporary thing until they had the Band ready to be reinstalled. Obviously that never happened. :(

Yeah, I REALLY miss the ol' Elmbrook store. That place was golden. I do like how the new one still has many posters from the old store.

So Mike, where do you turn on and off the RM's? DTU's or the Show Computer on the rack?
My store disabled the curtains through the Tech Term hitting "Blind" on both Curtains open and Curtains close.
I always thought you had a pre-programmed file on the dvds during the intermissions, so all you had to do is add the file on the intermissions skits, so the bot will move...

I recommend you have your store tech or the district tech walk you through that.
Also, all of the show data comes from the computer and not the DVD's.

Haha, well funny thing about that, the tech that enabled the Rm at my store recently quit and were not making any plans soon to hire a new tech since my GM thinks that I could run all tech stuff since I've been a A$$ Tech. for 3 years now...and my DT is currently in LA for the next 6 months working on a store over there....
