Who is Charlie Rokkit?

o_o I was looking at some old threads... and I saw this name! Who is he? I've never, EVER heard of him!

Charlie was a character made in the early 90s, sometimes he would do some singing with Chuck E. and the band, than in some later shows he had his own series of intermissions. Charlie was a puppet boy and there were two versions of him. One had more of a wide mouth, red hair, and looked more like a monkey, and the second version had yellow hair and look more like a human.

The last referance ever for Charlie was in the direct to home video movie 'Chuck E. Cheese and the Galaxy 5000' where he was potrayed as a real live action human instead of a puppet, the puppet stuff ended around 1994.

Charlie's personality was basically like a preteen kid's would be, he was known to be the cool laid back dude who love to jam on his guitar, and i guess was supposely the one which Chuck E. was his idol to be a star.:)

You know I pulled out that Charlie Rockit puppet not too long ago and he totally looks like crap now. Hmmm...... You know what would be cool? If we could do something like a "E" true hollywood spoof about him.

I'll have to toss that idea around and see what happens.

Is he still useable, Mike? Or is he ready to fall apart? I would LOVE to see an E! True Hollywood Story on Charlie. Haha, maybe show some actual footage from the early '90s. He was awesome in the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles show. Also what other cool stuff from the older days have you found, Mike?

Here is pic I took of him a while back...We would have to get him fixed up for sure. He likes to jump in and help us out every so often. ::sigh:: poor kid.

Haha, wow I don't think I ever saw that version of Charlie Rockit! I saw the original version and the later blonde one but never this version with red hair...when was this version used? :o
