I remember one day when I was a kid working at ShowBiz I noticed everytime I was about to take a picture with people (me being insice the CEC costume) and they would say "cheese" or something I had a big smile on my face (behing the CEC head) like I was actually taking the picture of myslef with friends...this was not on purpose just a natural responce...does anyone else do this?

I do it so habitually....I do it all the time! I've caught myself doing it lately, and then laughing at myself afterward, thinking, "Duh, they can't even see your smile! Chuck is already smiling!"

My constant thought was, "GOD I CAN'T SEE A THING WITH ALL THIS DAMN SWEAT IN MY EYES!!" I tried it all too head bans, t-shirts, even a do-rag! I just used to be soaking wet getting out of the costume after only being in it for like 10 mins! Haha So, that's how I got out of doing it eventually! I told my GM ok I'll do it but I'm gonna be all sweaty running pizzas after...not to mention a 6ft 2in Chuck was kinda intimidating to kids. :lol

YES I DO THAT EVERYTIME!! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! Lol when I did chucke for my litel brothers birthday party 9My granparents have a suit) It was at in indoor pool and It was so humid!! It was tiring and anoying because the kids were screeming to "throw chucke in" and then "Its not chucke".:\ I had to wear a headband to keep my hair out of my eyes cuz if I don't i lift up the head and fix it on habit.
btw heres a pic

The costume is a tuxido suit but we took of the hat and put on this one and changed the shirt to a cec hokey jursey I found on ebay along time ago (unofficial).

That hockey jersey actually is a licensed item and was available from fine incentives, I'm not sure exactly when, but a couple years ago my gm asked them about discontinued items, and they still had a couple of those in stock

lol! I don't think I could ever bring myself to smile.. even if it's a fun performance, it's hard work. It's more like "hurry up and take your picture so I can leave"
Like Gabe, I also had a collection of headbands and a du-rag.. they see me when I get out and they're like "are you alright!?" cause I'm all sweaty and my face is red :lol Oh well, haha.. can't have a good performance if you don't put effort into it.

Also.. for those who used a headband or whatever, did it ever get pushed down over your eyes? I hate when that would happen, lol

This sounds kind of weird but whenever I am in the costume I close my eyes. I guess it's so no one can "see" me or something.

back in the day when i used to do it all the time, i caught myself smiling, and then i started making wierd faces cause, i dont know, i guess im just a retard. it amused me.
havent been in that suit in a long time - i do it every once in a while just to show the cm what a REAL chuck e is.
this one kid in bridgeville could do cartwheels in the suit - now that was impressive

I remembeer one time my brother went to take some video of what we thought was still the Cedar Rapids IA ShowBiz but had since become a CEC. anyways on the tape there was footage of the walkaround Chuck doing not a single not even a Double but a TRIPPLE cartwheel at the end of "Dance To The Music". DON'T ask to see this video,I haven't seen it in years myself and have NO clue where it is.
