I just heard on the news that CEC in Essex MD is closed for cleaning and investigations because their was about 15+ people are in the hospital due to people getting very sick from eating their pizza and having very bad effects after eating. The CEC in Essex is temporaily closed, and employees are very concerned are what happened, and it is uncertain if they will re-open. Looks like a lot of bad things are happening with CEC Entertainment, and they have dropped the ball again. I'm not a CEC fan, but I just have to post this because I heard about it on the news a few moments ago.

ok, ive been to heath department classes and there is NOTHING in that pizza that could get you sick. ever. everything is pre-cooked (as in toppings) and that oven is over 500degrees. you could pretty much take a dump on a pizza and cook it and youd be fine eating because the temp would kill all the bacteria. not that you would want to...

the only thing i could think of that could possibly make anyone sick is if the pasta salads on the salad bar were out of date or not cold enough (as in, they didnt keep the ice filled). other than that, just from what i know from health dept classes, i dont see how its possible.

Well, apparently one of the chefs had a stomach virus and it affected everyone. I had my 5th B-day party in 1992, that's when there was a lot of great things happened for the company.

Yes, I LOVED CEC back in those days. They ruled. RULED!!!! I loved everything about them, the ball crawl, the shows, the food, the checkerboard patterns, EVERYTHING!!! Now stuff like people getting sick from the food, or people fighting, nothing surprises me. What have you done, CECE? Yeah, it's not the company's fault if a store screws up, but they can at least try to take charge of it.

LOL, umm Sungun...ever concider the possibility that it wasn't from the pizza but from an employee with dirty hands running the cooked pizza, or even the guy/girl that butters the crust?? :rolleyes I had a friend who was "famous" for that, he once told our manager that that's why his sandwiches were so good when she asked him. :lol

You can't rule out that someone forgot or just didn't wash their nasty ass hands :lol

eh, thats true and also completely disgusting. it would have to be as the items came OUT of the oven and the person would literally have to have poop on their hands. i dont know thou, has this ever really happened before? ive never heard anything like this before at cec, really because theres nothing to get sick from. unless someone is just a complete a-hole

Something like this has happend before. It took place at Taco bell. Taco Bell's Taco's had e-coli in them. Lots of Taco Bell stores had to be closed.
