Well much of New Jersey is one giant suburb to New York City, so guess you could say I'm near NJ too.

The Union NJ store where I performed for 9 years was only a half hour away from Times Square by bus.

I'll have you know that New Jersey is a very historical state, and has some amazing things to see!
We would be here all day if I had to list all the great things about Jersey.
Speaking of which, it's the only state you can you can say without the "New" and people still understand what you're talking about.

ie: if you said, "I'm from Hampshire" or "I live in York" people would look at you like you've got three heads.
It would be like having a human stuck in random movements mode, it just seems silly.
