And Jenn, if you want to hit up Brandon some day, it'll probably have to be next week. I'm going up to Tallahassee today to see if they've fixed up their 3-stage, and Saturday-Monday I've gotta work. (you know how weekends at CEC are!) I'm guessing Tuesday would be my best day.

Well i will have to see if i can get a day "off' to do this trip, as Aaron hopes to have we going on the programming of the new Hannah show soon. I also have plans for another daytrip with a friend, so we will see.

Bzier, while i have you here...i have been wanting to ask you something since i am in the area. I would like to introduce Steve, who has been working with us on the Hannah project, to the CEC of today. He is heavily into Animatronics like we all are, and i have told him that i would be more then happy to bring him to a CEC locally so he can see the style of show(s) they have to offer.

So my question is this, as my memory is a bit fuzzy: WHERE in the Orlando or surrounding area can one find a CEC that still has it's Cyberamic ( MMBB Stage) show? I know all the ones in the immediate area i have been told before are now Studio C's, including the Ex-Showbiz i used to go to on I-Drive here in the Big O. Do you know where i can bring Steve to see a MMBB setup?

I think he will get a kick out of how the MMBB setup is such a obvious rip off of the RAE ( with Munch even stealing Fatzs' Tune Machine! LOL!)

There are now only 2 locations in all of central Florida that still have the Munch band: Brandon and Tampa/Carrollwood. Carrollwood's stage is in MUCH better condition that Brandon's. Our store's assistant tech has been over there the last month getting the games and show looking sharp again. It's not perfect, but it's one of the better Munch Band shows I've seen recently.
It definitely will shock your friend Steve when he sees the band. Rockafire it sure isn't! Every location anywhere near you has Studio C alpha, and my store, which is an hour away, has Studio C beta.

here's something i've just been thinking about. If Aaron was so frustrated w/ the fact that ShowBiz was going to change direction and ditch the RAE for the CEC concept, since he owned the RAE characters already why didn't he outright tell ShowBiz "you can keep the Pizza Time Theater characters you already have the rights to but if you want 3 staqe versions Chuck E. Cheese, Jasper T. Bowls ( I do have it quoted somewhere here of Jasper being called this by Aaron) & god klnows who else then start from scratch because I'm buying you out & making ShowBiz Pizza the best damn pizza chain on the planet

Danny, Showbiz ( the Company) wanted Air and the RAE out as the basically wanted to cut costs. As any Showbiz fan knows, Bob Brock and Air had a deal where they split the profits from the resturants. When the "new regiment" came into the fold in the mid-80's, the new people wanted to have more control over the profits and thus wanted to find ways to cut costs. What better way they to cut out those who were "in the way" of that Corporate Mentality. The CEC of today is owned by the "corrupted" version of the Company that did the above...so yeah, you can see why CEC is in the situation it is in these days!

It's a dang shame yes...and a lot of unfortunate things happened to bring us to where we are today, but at least we still have connections to the past glory. :D

On the brighter side, thanks guys for telling me about where to find MMBB Stages here in Central FL. Sorry to hear 'my store" Brandon has such a rough show at the present. Geez....

It looks like i will be too occupied with the Hannah project here to take any time off for a road trip...but i want ya'all to know that i REALLY appreciated the thought of helping to get me out to Brandon! One of these days i WILL come back and visit...it's been a looooonnnnggg time....but it will have to wait for now.
