Hello, everyone!
My name is Tim, and I had the unbelievable pleasure of stumbling onto this forum today.
I'm an Indianapolis native whose childhood revolved around attending birthday parties at the 38th St. Showbiz on Indy's westside. Today, a former colleague of mine (we ran a short film festival together in town,) alerted me to the Rockafire Explosion film, which he is screening for possible inclusion in the Indianapolis International Film Festival. Needless to say, I was blown away by what I saw, and I am dead-set on getting him and his judges to include this movie.
I wanted to get to know some of you, especially those who are in the Midwest, in hopes of showing my buddy that his fest would really benefit by showing this film... not to mention harvest some possible ideas from you folks about having a get-together here in town in conjunction with its screening. If any of you are interested, I'll keep you posted on the progression of its inclusion, screenings, and parties where we can get together and share some memories!
