Hi everyone! This is my first post :). I was perusing around Youtube and came upon this video.

I don't think that Chuck is supposed to be looking back like that and I was just wanting to know what could cause this to happen to him (other than just pure neglect).
Thanks, Fluteguy

Hi Fluteguy, and welcome to the Board!

Thanks for posting this creepy video...it looks to me like the head is not adjusted correctly. Notice have the two halves of the figures head are coming open near the neckline? Someone had this guy apart recently and obviously did not know fully what they were doing.

Pretty sad that this was actually passing for 'entertainment'......but kind of funny to see.

The Chuck at my store has a big gap between the two halves of his head as well. Half of the time they don't even bother to put the back of his head on.

our Studio C Chuck bot did that last year when some stupid kids decided to climb up on the stage and hang onto Chuck's head. It broke his neck and the bracket that keeps his head from doing that. I could have killed those kids...and their parents didn't give a crap! The parts cost us big time! I think it was in the field of $500. We got that fixed as soon as we could!

There's a ring that holds the head tight to the shaft and keeps it straight. It's really weak and will break rather quickly with too much force. It's either loose or broken. Really you just have to replace the shaft that the head sits on and the ring.

Job security my friend.

Thanks guys for all the feedback! I was thinking it probably was mistreatment by nasty kids. I really wish parents would watch their kids more and teach them not to destroy things for fun!

Is that 2 stage from the Mira Mesa store? I managed to go there a few days ago, and their stage is short like that.

Yep, those are from the Mira Mesa store. Chuck is 6ft tall.

I don't think they were referring to Chuck E.'s height, but the height of the stage Chuck is on. Is that you in the picture?

Oh, haha. Totally misread that. Yeah, very short stage. Due to the stage being short, kids don't feel all that discouraged to stand on the stage and do disrespectful things such as sitting on Pasqually's drumset.

Desk desk desk desk desk! The thing can really help Chuck from getting totally destroyed by devil children.

I want to install one on our show so bad. Wanna build one this spring Jason?
