Beach Bear's fur?

I'm trying to find some fur that is similar to Beach Bear's. I ordered some fur samples a while ago, and they just arrived today. As I don't own a Beach Bear (yet!) I can't really compare these to his real fur. So, for those who are lucky enough to own a Beach Bear, could you tell me if these two furs look anything like his real fur? I'm guessing the one on the right is closer. The one on the left is 1" long and soft, kind of straight. The one on the right is slightly wavy and 2" long. They are both pure white, but the non-flash pictures make them look dirty.

From what I've seen, the 2" fur is closer to the original Beach Bear robot. The wavyness and length create some shadows that mute his glaring white fur under the spotlight. If you use the shorter one and try to light him up, he'll be practically iridescent!

Then again, if you don't plan on lighting him up with a proper spotlight, it doesn't really matter. Still, the 2" seems closer.

Yeah, judging by the hundreds of pictures I have of Beach Bear, it seems his fur is closer to the 2". There's another type of fur called mongolian lamb, which seems to look a lot like his fur. So I'm ordering some samples of that as well.

This is a difficult hobby, yet so addicting. xD

I do like number 2, it is pretty close. I also do like the one with qauter too. But, you know its your choice. Pick what you wanna pic, that whats gonna make your costume cool and unique!

Thank you! Looneybird78 is sending me a fur sample from an original Beach Bear so I can compare the fur samples I've ordered to the real thing. :D

White. :) I was actually contemplating making the costume gray when I first came up with the idea, but I figured white would be better. Plus gray fur is near impossible to find. ;)
