...Can we get a different, nicer picture of Chuck for it? The one that adorning it now is very, very creepy with that gap around the eyes in clear view, and I can imagine it scaring off potential newcomers to the site.

What about a larger version of the one in the current banner? That one's actually kind of cute. Or the one that adorns the icon for the PTT section on the main page?

Hey, thanks for your feedback!

Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, that's how the bots have always looked...all deformed and disheveled.:))

But! Travis (Veganova) is in charge of those character sections over on the site, so we'll let him know and get his opinion. Hopefully he'll return soon with an answer for you. :)

To be precise, they're typically fine from an angle, but looking right at you...there's something strangely unnerving. That on in particular looks a bit different than the others I've seen on this site (again, compare with the current banner).

The big issue here is gettng a large enough photo to make it work. Most of the photos we have of PTT were taken from old cameras and the resolution isn't very good. Which is why the photo I used was a recent shot of Capt's show (the derby on it bugs me more than anything else).

That's the problem with PTT, we don't really have a lot of hi-res promo shots to use. I do have a few but they're either not of Chuck or black and white or both. I can do some digging but worst case scenario the existing shot can be photoshopped. ;)

Ah, I understand. In that case, no need to go through the trouble.

I think the eyes are fine, Some 2-Stage bots still look like that.

What's wrong with the derby Travis?

How about one of the 1970's CECPTT Chuck E. portrait robots for a PTT page pic?

The derby is a replacement... but if nobody else really noticed then I guess it works ok. ;)

LOL, I was gonna guess that's what bothered you about it... well that's a relief!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is annoyed by stuff "made to replace" or unofficial pieces added to something because it was otherwise missing or no longer made! #:-S
