I was reading the Valid Live Shows Page (http://www.showbizpizza.com/review/live/index.html)and it had three catagories: Live Shows, Road Shows, and Birthday Shows.
What is a Road Show? What makes it different from a live show?
Also, it said "Here is a list of valid lives, road shows, & birthday shows you can play or request at your CEC!" Can you actually request a live show?
Also, it said "And as of 1/1/08, the only thing Chuck E. Cheese's are supposed to be using is the new Birthday Extravaganza! Check out the review, and see the show now playing near you!" There are no live shows being performed other then Birthday? That explains why I haven't seen a live show on my past three trips to CEC.

thats true, because at my store we are not allowed to do any other live show for birthdays other than the birthday extravaganza, hahaha we got banned from doing the chicken dance so much! as far as doing road shows, we were doing the hokie pokie but we stopped then we were doing the chicken dance, and now we are doing the chuck e shuffle, the guests really love that one!

When I was working at cec, we did every single live show, man it was so much fun. I wish I didn't lose my job...

Road shows are shows performed in the restaurant that require the kids participation. At the end, tickets are thrown about. The current one is the Chicken Dance.

So they aren't supposed to be doing any live shows except for Birthday Star, but they do others anyway?

The road show are actually what we call "ticket splashes". We try to do them once per hour and dump anywhere from 100 to 200 tickets on the kids after the dance has been done with a boombox up by kidcheck.
We account for about 7000 tickets.

Why do you do them at the kidcheck instead of at the stage? I can just imagine a little 6 year old kid walking into a CEC for the first time in his life and seeing a bunch of kids, and a giant mouse dancing and getting scared to death.

I remeber the one fundraiser we had three weeks ago. We did that "Chicken Dance" like five times, LOL!
Most places Aren't supposed to be doing the "Chuck E. March." But my store does it anyway.

The "Chuck E March" is a valid generic live show. Any invalid live shows will not be available for secletion on the DVD.
