I am curious and I am going to make it my goal in life to do something similar.

Ouch!! I thought it was like around 60k... But yeah this dream isn't going to be happening for a while. LOL! Also, I kinda see why they dropped the Alpha concept. Just ten shows would already be over a million.
But they could have just slowed down in opening new stores/replacing shows. I mean with the Alphas, Studio C would have been more acceptable...

Yeah, I remember hearing a few people tell me that the basic Studio C alpha setup cost around $125,000. You could get a nice 3-stage for that!

I always thought they were expensive.

Hahaha! I lol'd hard on that one. Wow, one character, and a bunch of lights. They could have given up some of the useless things like the bluescreen to have a Helen, or Pasqually. I mean seriously, you need at least two characters to have a real show. LOL oh well, maybe some day they will make a way where you can have the existing Studio C's expanded and they can squeeze a Helen on stage. I estimate it only cost around 15,000 thousand or is my estimation way off?

At least it shows.

I know the alpha was close to 200K. The CEC character alone is around 45K. That's why they scaled them back, also....If you notice, not many people pay attention to the show.
The games pull in money. The show does not. Simple math. In many cases they're downsizing the showroom to fit more games.

but if they actually got rid of the show altogether, I guarantee they'd lose quite a bit of business...the show is a trademark EXPECTED aspect of the concept. People expect to be entertained by robots when they come to Chuck E Cheese. I know people that haven't gone to CEC in a few years always start by asking me if ''they still have the singing animals.''
I always thought if the reason they don't want to do anything good with the shows anymore because they don't make money, then why not have the shows operated by tokens like back in the day with the cabaret/lounge shows!!! Then they WOULD be making money off of the show.

Yeah, or like this one idea someone on the board had a long time ago, when you order a pizza, you get a sheet of paper, and on it, it has questions regarding the current show. If you answer all the questions correctly then you get free tokens...that'd bring the show back in the spotlight I'm sure.

That's actually a really great idea! I love it!

That's a good idea! Most people do like the older shows though. Although Studio C is impressive in it's own right, most people will go to one of my older stores for the older show.

I agree that Studio C is impressive for the kind of technology it uses, but if Corporate CEC was to find a way to create a MMBB with close to the same level of technology it would be three times better.
