We moved the Warp over, so it's not on Chuck E, but on the CEC letters or kids and showroom hostesses when we do live shows. The kids really liked that added effect when they were dancing. Sadly, our district tech came over and made us change it back to the 'standard'.
I don't know what you're talking about with the orange light pattern...I don't see anything wrong with it?

As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with any of the colored lights for the show. Right now 2 of our blue screen lights just went out, but that's it.

Probably won't see them until the beginning of October. :( We've already spent over $170 on a bracket for Chuck's neck/head turn this month. My GM is loving all the spending we're having to do on the show lately. If corp would just put the curtains and the dang desk back on Studio C shows, we wouldn't have anywhere near as many issues with Chuck getting the crap beat out of him by little brats who can't resist climbing up on the stage to take a swing at him.

Ah, man you should've seen me today at work...I'm working at merch counter, right? So I turn my head and see our beautiful Studio C Alpha being trashed by these little brats. So, I look at the lady on register and go, "Watch Merch for a minute...I'll be right back," all serious like...I march right on over and gave those brats my two scents on beating up my beloved Chuck. Boy oh boy, they didn't even set FOOT in the showroom after that...it was fabulous!

Yet another reason why Alpha is the only version I wanna see. Granted, I love extisting stages No. 1 always, but Alpha kind of has a charm to me nowadays. I still find the whole setup just ridiculous for a 'show,' and just plain bland, but working with an Alpha, gives me time to really appreciate it. I actually find myself saying goodnight to Chuck after I'm doing closing!

I always notice kids climbing on the desk with alpha, and occasionally a nose grab on Chuck, but I've NEVER seen the kind of abuse that a Beta gets...pulling and breaking arms and hands, smacking his nose, pushing his head till it almost breaks, pushing Chuck back when he's leaning forward, hanging on Chuck when he's leaning forward...I've had to stop people for all of these reasons in my time at my store. It's pitiful.

I'm really having a hard time believing people of any age could be so disrespectful, especially in the case of the kids climbing that balcony stage like little ingrates. (I'll admit I had to look into what stages everyone was talking about since I'm really only familiar with the early ones!) Kudos to you for telling those kids off, but where were their parents? Were they even present at the time? I guess it really shouldn't surprise me, here in CA, when me and my roommate go shopping at Targets it's just a madhouse when it comes to kids...honestly, and their parents just let them do anything they please. Abuse merchandise, run around tearing things off shelves and throwing them on the floor, nearly running into ME on several occasions while screaming for whatever reason. I tend to make overly loud and blunt comments about their actions in the hopes the adults hear me...heh.
Not to drag things off topic, apologies, just read that and it made me somewhat angry. I mean, poor chuck, I didn't originally like his new look but it's been growing on me, and those dang animatronics are delicate, and I doubt they've become any cheaper to construct and care for over the years. I'd suggest putting a sign near him saying to 'keep off' if I thought that'd make any difference...

Oh, you know...just standing right there laughing and cheering the kids on...

Yeah, that's normally what parents seem to do. Most parents suck nowdays...at least here where I live. They let their kids run amok...not only in my store, but at Walmart, the movies, the mall, etc. They just don't seem to care, and they definitely don't discipline their children. Such a shame.

Since working at Lakeland I seen my shares of problems with Chuck. Mainly all from kids thinking that he is something to climb on. Just the other week a child was climbing on him before the child was told to get down he was on his head!!! In for repairs that is another story. Two broken wrists, one broken neck bracket another about to go but a bigger problem on that one, broken teeth, and his body shell. They also think it is funny to put holes in his shirt also. Like Bzier said if this had a curtain and or a desk these problems would not be as bad. Since the budget for the show is quite small it is not easy to keep parts on hand you have to wait until it breaks. I worked at another location for a short time and find the show there was in rough shape and this was a 1 stage show with all the characters. After I got my hands on them and a few weeks later the show actually worked well until the original tech came back and from what I have hear the show isn't doing well again.
Here is a picture of what Chuck E. is doing for Christmas this year

The stage you're talking about that you fixed was Tampa/Carrollwood's 2-stage, right Jason? It's not as bad as I thought it would be last time I was there, but it definitely needs work again. You did a good job that month you helped over there...that show was in the best shape I've seen it in since I've been down here!
Yeah, the kids climbing and beating the crap out of our Studio C Beta Chuck happens daily. I probably have to tell at least two or three kids every day to get off of him. It's really driving me nuts.
Nice Christmas pic Jason...you should post the pics of the rest of our store's decor as well!

and to think that parents feel their kids act up it's the ADULTS that deserve the spanking.

Hey Ben looking good in that picture; are you working hard, or hardly working?
Anyway, it looks great, the store looks great decorated, I mean. It's too bad we can't decorate our store since most of the guests at my store are a huge indian community and would probably be offended. pfft

we have a HUGE variety of different cultures coming through our store. If they're offended by Christmas decor, I say too bad. Because EVERYBODY decorates for Christmas...McDonalds, Walmart, Hooters, the Mall, etc...why can't CEC?
I've been the one in charge of decorating at my store for about 5 years now. I put my time, effort, and own money into decorating. Luckily, Jason(GalacticGames) our tech has also helped pitch in money and time to decorate and spruce up the store this year! Very much appreciated buddy!
