Harmony Howlette also appears in:
* The 1983 CECPTT Backstage with Chuck E. Cheese calendar
* The 1981 CECPTT Annual Report
* A 1981 CECPTT coloring book.
* 2 1988-1990 CEC Parody Movie Posters
A CECPTT Welcome sign even had Harmony Howlette on it! But there was never plans for a Harmony Howlette plush doll or vinyl doll (Maybe a Harmony Howlette Wacky Wobbler Bobblehead Doll if Funko gets Wacky Wobbler rights to old school CECPTT characters in the future?)

Where did you get this photo of Harmony, S.H.J.?

Speaking of Harmony Howlette: Have you ever seen an episode of the 1990's Disney cartoon TaleSpin called "Citizen Kahn" which features Baloo and Kit teaming up with a cowgirl cat named Clementine (who may remind you of Harmony from the CECPTT shows)?

Somehow I wish soon we uncover a clear more detailed Harmony Howlette Wall Portrait robot pic like the one which you can hardly see in the Life Magazine pic we recently put up in this forum.

Dani (it is Dani, is that correct?),

I'm really enjoying the pieces of your art I've seen on the website recently. You've got a lovely style. I'm sorry I can't articulate what I like better, I'm of the "I don't know much about art but I know what I like" school. Have you been published before? Do you have a Deviantart page or any kind of online showcase for your art we can look at?

Thanks,
-Bob-

I have to say I like the hat Jenn made my Harmony better than the original Harmony Hat. I know they were going for cartoonish and oversized but the original almost doesn't look right. The one Jenn made me is really the perfect size for her head.

So back to the character Harmony... I remember when I was little I thought her name was "Harmony Howard" and it wasn't until I found this site around 1999ish that I realized her name was Harmony Howlette.

Exactly. Just something I happened to remember randomly the other day. I was 5 or 6 when I saw her in Pizza Time Theatre so I didn't really catch it and I didn't read very well either. That being said, most of Dolli's little suggestive comments went straight over my head. I had no idea she was supposed to be a black woman until I heard her shows again years later. I also never caught the stuff about her being divorced and married so many times. I just thought she was cool because she was a singing hippo and I was fascinated by the fact she was a seperate show from the other room. I missed a lot of that the first time around.

I don't really remember much about Chuck E. Cheese even though I did go there at least a couple of times, but having listened to several of the Dolli Dimples routines on Radio Showbiz I must say I wish I'd seen the show (or at least remembered it if I actually had). Did any of the San Antonio CEC locations have one?

I just realized we are getting away from Harmony Howlette which is what the thread is supposed to be about. We probably should start a new topic for Dolli. Not every store had her but she was widely installed in most locations. She was gone by about 1985 though. I can promise you that at least one store in the area had her though. The Dallas area had at least 3 or 4 locations (one unconfirmed 3 for sure) that had Ms. Dimples. The rarer ones were Artie Antlers & BB Bubbles. The King and Dolli were the 2 most common caberet/lounge shows in the early 80s followed by the Beagles. I am not sure on how common the Bowzers were although my research indicates that the Bowzers were the only other surviving side show into the 90s besides the King. I own both Harmony Howlette and Dolli D and have some shows of both posted on Youtube and will post more as time permits. Find me by looking up CaptSlappy. Other fans have also posted videos of my Dolli and Pizza Time Theatre shows although most of those are out of date. The show has come a long way since most of those videos were made.
