I have a interview at store #367, 6901 LaTijera Blvd, Los Angeles, California. This store is a beta. I don't have any previous experience. So I need to ask you guys how can I prepare? What kinds of things will I need to do? Is it hard? And where do the parts come from? If you know anything else or have others tips for me, please tell me. Also, how would I go about fixing the blue screen?

Also I forgot to say how would I fix a bad movement? Like a movement that goes slowly or not at all. Just replace the cylinder right?

If a movement goes slowly, I'd also advise you to check and see if there's any small air leaks anywhere. But either changing the cylinder or lubing it (if that's possible and is recommended) should be good.
As for being showroom manager, a huge thing you should watch for is those few kids who think it's cool to go around destroying the show. They need to promptly be removed from the area if they're older, but if they're little kids, tell them nicely to get off the stage and to not mess with Chuck E. while he's performing. Also, I hear the lights on these stages burn out a lot, so keep an eye on them. I assume this stuff will be something you're required to do, but if not, it's a good habit to form anyways. Less wear and tear principle. As for parts, I can guess that there's some form of book or catalog the parts can be ordered from, much like costume parts for the walk-arounds.
I hope this helps you some. :)

if a movment stop workings you need to clean the valves out and lubb it up with white lithium grease. The cylinders get lubbed by the oiler. Good luck

When the curtains close and Chuck is no longer aired up, his head will tilt to the side and I believe he stands straight. With are Chuck, he will lean over, and his head will be straight.
So according to what your saying, all I need to do is clean the Mac Valve and it will fix those problems. But if that dosen't work I assume it's safe to say that he's got a bad cylinder.
Also would you or somebody know about fixing his eyes? They are stuck to the left. And does the warp use a fuse and a light or just a light? Sorry, for all these questions, I just want to make sure I can do my job.

Don't ask your possible employer if he's wearing a wig. I hear they don't like that.

I love that store. I go to that store a lot:) the manager is awesome there. well it sounds like to me you want to be a tech. if thats the case you have to go to school for that and things to really look out for when working in the showroom is balloons getting stuck in the gemini lights. that happens a lot and that ruins the motor. also make sure that if the gemini deosn't light up that means you have to change the bulb. I hope that helps:)

Yes, but you forgot to mention, the Gemini has two light bulbs. And if one goes out the other won't light. But I'm sure the current tech hasn't gone to school for that. I had my interview today and the manager said I know more than the tech.
Also, I got the job. I just can't work now. But I got the job.

Just a side note, if you know anything about electricity, you can easily by-pass the "if one goes out, they all go out" problem. The gemini is wired like the old fanshioned christmas strands, where if one mini-lamp goes out, the strand goes out. This happens because all the lamps are wired in one continous flowing circuit. If the lamp shatters or the small filament inside breaks, it will cut off the current to the others...
If you want instructions on how to do this with the Gemini, PM or email me, ill make a diagram.
Oh congrats on the job! What does a showroom manager do? I've never heard this type of position, manage b-days?
And the tech is responsible for all show related material, I wouldn't go fixing things with him there, if you break it, you and him/her are responsible...

Congrats Beach Bear! I think it's both awesome and a bit sad that you know more than your current tech (more of the awesome half of my statement though).

I ended up changing my mind, and I couldn't update the topic. I thought that Chuck was in need of repair and since I know a little bit about animatronics and how the show works. I thought I'd go down there and use my knowledge to at least put Chuck in the hands of someone who can fix some if not most, of his problems.
And... if anybody wants to know, I go back in December.

Totally, imagine a 16 year old working at CEC, fixing the stuff there. LOL I might break some sort of record, if I do good enough.
Congratulations Beach Bear!
Thank you.
