Hello everyone, my name is Jonathan.

I'll be starting a thread over in the PTT section soon, but want to get my thoughts and photos together.

This past Saturday I stood in my local Chuck E Cheese (as I have done many weekends of late), but this time I had an epifany. I could never give my little daughter the experiences nor the Chuck E Cheese that I had grown up with.

I did a search that evening for one particular memory and stumbled across this site. I ended up reading all of the forums going back three years or more. In reading, I found out that our Brandon store had not yet been renovated with phase 4 and still had there walls, and MMBB intact. This store also held memories, and I hadn't been there in almost 20 years.

I took my little girl, and unfortunately the show was down. The employees couldn't have cared less about the show when I asked. Finally I waited 20 minutes for manager, and after an hour of "beating the hell" out of the DVD player and show computer, got the show going. My little girl fell in love with Jasper, and I cried. She begged for us to stay and watch it "one more time".

Long story short, it rekindled something that I hadn't thought about in years. So I am digging out my old photos, memorbillia, and showtapes (yes I have show tapes laying around here) and going to share some memories of the good times (and the bad) with you.

Sorry for a long first post, but had to share. I've been trying to get my account activated for a week, so it was all built up!

So, Hello Everyone!

Great story. I'm glad your girl is watching the show. Which Showtapes do you have?

I'm still digging them out, but best I can tell...the last Harmony Howlette, Madaam Oink Tunnel of Love, and Helen's Summer Days Show. Once I'm sure I'll post, and convert to mp3 if they will still play.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. You've come to the right place, though!
And your daughter's favorite is Jasper, huh? That's really cute, haha. Glad she enjoyed the show, at least. We really need more kids in this world who actually CARE about it.
