Work has been incredibly struenous lately. All the games have these simple breaks which, while easy to fix, still require me stopping what I'm doing to fix them all the time, my favroite manager has left for better opportunites (Regardless, she was still awesoem to close with, but I'm happy for her.)
And everything was becoming increidbly stressful to the point where I was pretty sure I was gonna quit...then suddenly, things started to get better.
Regardless of how frustrated I was, I still did my work with a smile and "It's my pleasure." I worked hard, and it started paying off, as my District Manager relayed two compliments (Not just one. TWO.) that people had written to the corporate offices about me, both of them regarding my livliness as CEC and hard effort as the game fixer. (No one EVER writes compliments, but they did with me. It's great.)
Since then, work has become so much better. It's less stresful, and more grattiyfying with the knowledge of knowing that both the guest and your bosses bosses boss knows how hard you working.
Moral of the story: If someone is working hard, let them know.
