(I think?? >D ) Last I heard from someone, that she went on vocation to Disney World, but I heard that like 3 weeks ago..... Jenn, are u still alive??? Did you passout on "Mission Space"? Actually I have some rather sad news to report. Jenn is indeed dead and her funeral is being held at the....

....wait a sec. That's not right, I met up with her down at Disney just like 2 weeks ago. I'm sure she's fine. Probably just taking a break from the CEC world. You have to do that sometimes or you start singing birthday star in your sleep.

Yes, i have been away most of this month traveling and having many adventures.

I went to Orlando earlier this month for my bi-yearly pilgrimige to Walt Disney World. I also visited CEI and met up with Air, Kerry, and none other then Rick Baily ( Yes, "Beach Bear" live in person!!) and his kids for a awesome pizza party. We sat in the old control room for three hours eating pizza and watching all these rare reels Aaron pulled out to show us all with his stage show setup. Later on after Rick left we rooted around through the huge archieve of reels and found loads of gems. If you guys could have only seen...and heard!

I met up with Travis and Sandie at Downtown Disney for dinner and then proceeded to hang out. Finally, we retired to my hotel room ( yes, all of us!) and they were off to continue there own adventure while i finished up my visit in the Parks.

Once i came back from my week in FL i arrived back at work to discover while i was away i had been promoted to Assistant Manager. What a Hell of a way to come back after a vacation! So since then my time has been taken up with training for my new position in the company (BABW...not CEC mind you! :b ). I was back only 3 days from FL and they shipped me off to NH for training at the BABW training store. Funny how both CEC and BABW have there training stores in Manchester, NH....as i was training CEC was literally across the street. I was SO tempted to go in and sit there chuckling to myself...but did'nt...no time!!

I have been home for a few days now, but my work hours have increased somewhat so i am not on the Board much these days.

In 3 weeks i will be going away again...this time to NJ ( CEC in NJ....are you reading this????) for more fun...

No unfortunately i was not able to finally return to the place where it all started for me....

Funny thing is i COULD have.....but i guess this will just be the exuse i need to return to Florida soon!! :p

There's a part of me that does want to see the Ol' Barn again....but then there is so much tied up in the place for me that to see what it has become ( a toddler-land no doubt...sigh) that another part of me would rather not see it!

The times i had there....my God it had one heck of a influence on me on so many levels. Someday i WILL return to Brandon! I'm interested to see what there layout is now without all the walls up. The place was absolutely HUGE....and it still is from what i was told when i was still with CEC "officially".

I have plans to fly in to the Newark airport Saturday afternoon.....perhaps we could meet up there and go off for Dinner at one of your CEC locations you have so wanted to show to me?

I would be up for that....however i would need a ride to the hotel i am staying at if this is okay with your folks. The hotel is about 20 mins from the airport ( last i rememember reading..).

Again, i will know details better when it gets closer to the day. I am still awaiting further details regarding the show i am supposed to be attending. I'll let you know soon.

Aaron, the choices are tough....but it WOULD be very neat to see a Road Stage in the flesh. How far away are these locations from Newark airport? Just curious....

It does'nt bother me at all if the bigwigs from Corporate are going to be in the area. That's great!! I don't mind at all if i bump into my "old pals" Mike, Dick, and Mark. It would be interesting to see if they remember me after all this time....

Which of these stores has more "retro" stuff? It's a darn shame Union was gutted ...i would have enjoyed seeing that old barn in it's original state before the remodel.

Well, according to the mapquest thing Wayne
is approximately 32 minutes away from
Newark Airport. That store to my knowledge
has the oldest stuff I've seen for a while.
On another note, a store I went to out of state
yesterday had some interesting stuff....
different MMBB background completely from
what've seen. The TV was built into the building
compeletely and behind Chuck was this weird
star. I've seen the star before but not the rest
of it. I have to try to get pictures when I go back.
Had some older signs, too. Also, something called...
"the Chuck E. Zone" which I had never heard of before.

They had old things that just aren't found anywhere
in the NJ stores; out of state was nice for that reason.
Stars with the characters names,some old posters- they had
a weird sign that said "the Chuck E. Zone" on it with
an old pic on it.I have to get back up there in the
next week or twoso hopefully then I'll be able to
get pictures. It's not anything I'm used to here,
and the background for the 1 stage was weird.
Also note, the store recently got the upgrade to DVD player.

The 'Chuck E. Zone" sounds familiar to me for some odd reason. We may have had one in these parts a while back. It's hard to remember for sure..

Great to hear about your adventures out of state Aaron.

Getting back to the store locations...a while back you had mentioned that some of your manager "friends" wanted to meet me sometime. Are any of them at these locations? It would be cool to meet up with these folks if chance brings it to be.

One is still around these parts- but on vacation.
The others have been transferred out of state
as GMs now, and one GM got fired. I'll let them
know you're in town though and you never know
what they say. Out of the closest stores which
one interests you most? I have to relocate my
directions for all of them except Union. That store
isn't as magical anymore- it's just a Phase IV store.
Sucks now with nothing good- but then you have
Wayne's road stage... I have to make sure it's
still there. I have some pics of it- ran pretty well
last I was there. Wow, I remember that store being
in a corner and the GM is now a big shot somewhere
in the company, I think.
