View Full Version : Okay, it's not quite the RAE... but it's still technical!

I FINALLY have some mp3s of the old music, but some of my favorite songs are pitched too high up... or at least, they sound like they are. Does Dook sing "My Love" and "Unchained Melody" in a higher key on the LPs than he does on the showtapes, and if not, where can I get a program that'll fix it?
And, on another note, where can I download an FLV player?

Hi,
Are you asking for a Audio software to change the pitch? The weird thing about sound, if you tweak with one function to fix, it causes other problems. With that being said, you'd be better off PM or emailing around asking for the MP3 you want to replace.
I can guide you towards some basic Audio Mixing/Recording software if you wish to tackle the problem.
I can even show you some advanced software, some stuff Brian and I use for the Podcasts.
Let me know.
As for the Flash Videos (FLV), Adobe owns Flash and Macromedia now. There is different kinds of Flash files and objects. If you just need a FLV player, I'd recomend downloading the Adobe Media Player. That can be found here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/
(Click on "Get Adobe Media Player" to download)
To play flash games, make sure to update or download Adobe Shockwave Player:
http://www.adobe.com/products/shockwaveplayer/
(Click on "Download Now" on the right-hand side)
And for Flash files and pictures on the internet (like Sp.com's Main Page with the lighting behind our logo [SWF Files]) make sure your Flash Player is updated or download it here:

Thanks a bunch, I'm good now. Although if anyone has a correct-pitch copy of "My Love", please let me know. Just that little clip from the old promo video give me shivers every time.
