I had never seen Studio C in person before and really wanted to so I decided yesterday that today would be the day I would see Studio C. So I went to Chuck E. Cheese dot com and found every store in Maryland and I pasted them into Microsoft Word and erased all of the ones I had been to. there were still a couple remaning so I called each one and said "How many animatronics do you have?" Surprisingly enough every time but once they said "How Many Games?" and I would pateintly reply "The robots on the stage" (This happened during pretty much every call except for a one in which the lady on the phone spoke with a cockney accent and said "4...no 5" and the precedded to name them). So I called almost every store and had almost given up hope because I had been on the phone for over an hour, so I decided to call one last store and when I asked my question they too didn't know what animatronic meant but when I explained they said "We have the one which is Chuck E." I nearly peed myself with happiness. SoI quickly mapquested the store in Largo, Maryland andfound out it was a 40 minute drive from my house to the store! UGH! But I did it! I got lost on the way there and that added another 20 minutes onto the drive but it was worth it!
I got into the store and the first thing I saw was that acursed evil thing known as Kid Check. However there was actually a woman standing there who gave us our stickers and we got in. My eyes imediatly started darting around, and I saw it my very first sight of Studio C not to mention Chuck E. was singing In The Summertime, which is a favorite of mine. It was a Beta and I ordered pizza and ran to a table. The tech was actually in The Showroom checking out the show! The volume was very loud and the animatronic worked perfectly! A great first memory of Studio C! However I noticed my table number was looking terrible it was destroyed nearly! You couldn't evn read the words on it. So during an intermission I went to check out the Game Room. It was amok!hardly any of the games worked and when a skee ball lane broke down on us I ran and got the atendent and had to wait forever. She fixed that lane but when I walked by it later I saw that it was broken again. Also the game where Chuck E. is a wizard and you have to get the ring around the coil, they had that but the rod with the ring was ripped off! So when I was redeming my tickets I noticed a LE Chuck I didn't have and so wanted to use tickets and money but the girl at the desk said "I can't use the register cuz it's my first day." She should of had someone there with her to work the register. So if you want to see a great show come to this store, but if you plan on playing alot of games don't come here. Unfortunatly because the drive takes about an hour I won't be able to go to this store again in a while so I'll have to deal with the videos of Studio C, and the 2-stage 18 nminutes from my home for a while but my birthday is coming up...
Sorry this post was so long... nobody probably actually read it LOL.
