Am I seeing things?

I was watching Fatz's "Heartaches" video, and at 2:21, it looks like Beach Bear puts his paw on Fatz's shoulder. Wouldn't having robots that could touch each other be a potential technical disaster? Plus, I thought Beach Bear was at least a foot behind Fatz.

On a more girlish note, the fact that Beach Bear is patting Fatz's shoulder while he's singing about heartaches makes my soul smile. That is all.

They used it sometimes specifically in the shows... the one that comes to mind is the "Christmas in Mexico" skit:

Beach Bear taps fats alot on the guitarzan skit also, when there talking about Fatz being president of the world.

Aaron tells me when i program, to stay away from doing that because of wear on Fatz jacket, so maybe thats why its done so rarely.

WOW...

It's stuff like that, that gave the Rock-afire Explosion a sense of realism. The characters had LOTS of personality and warmth. ^-^

Dang it, nobody has videos of those early shows and skits, and they sound like the best ones in the Showtape Reviews...

On shoulder patting and the like, all I can think of is that Disney special from the early 90s, where the technician guy said one of the country bears picked up his piano and threw it across the room due to a programming error...

Except with Beach Bear and a very unlucky gorilla.

CRASH!
Fatz goes flying into Dook's drumset, smashing it into little pieces. Rolfe laughs so hard he can't breathe.
Dook: BEACH BEAR, look what you did!
Fatz: Now what in tarnation- Beach Bear, what's gotten into you?!
Dook: I'm gonna have ta get a whole new bass drum!
Fatz: You' lucky I'm ambidextrous, boy, or you'd be in a world a hurt right now-
Rolfe: You deserve it, monkey! OH, this is rich!
Dook: You know how hard it is to find my drum face on eBay nowadays?!
Beach Bear: *can only manage an embarrassed smile*
Mitzi: Come on, guys, leave him alone.
Billy Bob: Yeah, it's not his fault.
Looney Bird: It's some goofus at the control's fault!
Beach Bear: Yeah!
Billy Bob: Now, Looney, stop it.
Earl: See, this is why they tell ya not to feed the bears at the park, ain't that right, Rolfe?
Rolfe: *is still laughing too hard*
Dook: I'll be lucky to find a new drum face in this day and age...
Fatz: *starts bandaging his shoulder*
