Why does Helen's "hair" move?

I dont think Chickens have anything on thier head that can move. Anybody know why they might have decided to keep the old ear movements for Helen. Sorry, if this question seems useless but I just want to know.

maybe she can do one of those forehead movements/tricks where her hair with her forehead would move like some people can do...(although chickens don't have hair they have feathers..lol)...

It might have been to give the effect that her feathery pigtails were flopping around when she was moving around, much like Mitzi's do naturally when she's moving her head around. That's my guess. you've also gotta remember that Helen's not a normal everyday chicken either.

I remember going to CEC right after the changeover from RAE and my mom said something about that. She thought it was odd that the chicken's hair moved. I guess think of them as ears or something... ? Dunno, but she does appear more expressive when they are in good working order.
