This is for all of you that have read my MySpace and keep asking, "What is wrong with you?!?"
Last Sunday was like any other day at work for me. Came in at 1:30 did two parties and planned to close showroom. A little before 7 I was finishing up what I could of my pre-closers when my GM asked me to go wake up Chuck E. and obayingly I did.
All the kids I could see where in the game room so I walked over there to wave hi and give a few hugs. I had a croud of little kids pull on my teeth like any other group of little kids would and I tryed to back away to keep them from doing so right into the skytube area where a bunch of older kids where playing. At this point I was struck in the head Hard by one of the older kids, then punched in the back and most the kids started kicking me. I tryed and tryed to pull away and finially paraded out of the gameroom and gave my GM the "Timeout" with a girl behind me saying "I saw the whole thing." I was shut in the Chuck E. room while my GM ushered the kids and their families out of the building.
I back is sore and my legs have bruised but besides that I am ok. I was in shock for a while.
My word of advice of ppl who are Chuck E. is know your "timeout" sign and make sure other castmembers know it too. Make sure there is a CM about in the any area you go in and someone is either with you or watching you to prevent this from happening. It hurts too know that because of a bunch a brats spoiled something not only for me but for a bunch of little kids as well.
I've been at my new store for two weeks now and everytime I leave it, I hate it more and more...

Hope ya feel better. I hate jerk kids, like this one dude in my class a few years back. He tortured the poor walkaround Chuck E. and pulled the latex on his hand off.

That sucks this happened to you. To this day, I will never, ever fully understand why the **** (<--- word of your choice) kids think it's "cool", funny", or any other derogative word to do such acts of violence. It just further proves the lack of caring and discipline parents give their children these days and it's pathetic. Hope you feel better soon. I think if I would've been you, I'd might have defended myself and kicked a few of the kids in the family jewels, no matter if I got fired or not. It wouldn't be worth working there if it wasn't fun. Seriously though, I don't get why stupid boys think it's a joy to do such acts, and I'm glad to hear they were kicked out of the store.

There is always that group of kids that mess everything up for everyone else. Those younger kids must have felt horrible; seeing such a sight.
It's good that you're OK though

I just transfered to this store and have been there for two weeks. The worse thing that has ever happened to me in my old store was a kid tryed to pull off my nose, but he was 5. My new store is not in the greatest of the naigborhoods but the one across town is much much worse (E. Washington). It's situations like this that we can not let "every guest see chuck e." it is just to dangerous. I didn't think to defend myself. I was scared and felt helpless. As soon as a postion opens up my dad wants me out of that store. He was ready to get down the phone to corparate the moment I called home to tell my mom. I'm not sure how that would help really. The sad part was the KidCheck person said the only thing the mother seemed concered about was having to now drive an extra half hour to the next closest Chuck E. Cheese (avon, the one I might transfer too... :( ). :'( how horrible!
Thank you for everyone that is thinking of me. It is really sweet and I am still sore in the back and my bruises don't hurt as much! I was asked to wake up the mouse today I ran away. I don't think I will do that job for awhile.

I know how you feel. One of the first times I did CEC I got beat up by a local high school football team which was celebrating their season. I tried the timeout signal, and the gameroom guy who saw me shook his head at me and tore off...he didn't want anything to do with that situation! I came home with black and blue bruises and marks all over my body too...
Some people are just plain jerks!
Hope you're feeling better!

Hmmm, well that certainly explains a bit being in a bad neighborhood. What a ***** the mom is for being concerned with gas prices and having to drive another few miles and not be the least concerned for you. Like mother like bratty dumb kid that's for sure. Jeez. If that would've been my kid, he'd have gotten quite the lashing from the ol' fashioned belt. Or at least a grounding. I wish you could get transferred back to your old location! It sounded quite friendly. Horrible indeed it that child should cross your path again if you do get to go to a new store.... How old do you think this kid was?

That kinda ticks me off. If you don't need help then why would you give the timeout single.
I'm sorry but some people are just idiots.

yeah that pisses me off too, because ive had some really bad beatings before, also including getting bit by may kids, and everything but they ignore me, my only safety from getting away from a bad butt whipping is going in the kitchen, kids know not to follow me there!

Maybe this isn't the best approach, but I'm so tired of kids doing that, whenever I go to leave due to violence, I don't care if you try getting back in my way to hit me again, I'm going to walk right through you.
