I'm going to put these all in one topic so I don't have to flood the forum with another thread.

Is there actually programming to turn the air compressor off? Or doe's it go off after so much time of being idle or what?

How can I find out if a bot is a 32 movement one? I believe the one at our Studio C is since it used to tap its foot. But it doesn't do that anymore. Is it possible they replaced it with another one? Broken or what?

Do the bots really have a eyebrow movement? Because I haven't seen it in action.

Sorry for all these questions I have just been curious on how these things work.

Also I know this is in the RAE Technical section. But I don't see a CEC one so I figured this is the most appropriate place.

What exactly was changed in the 2nd gen Dook to make him "drum better"?

I can answer one of your questions at least. The 32 movement bots did indeed have foot tap among other things. It also is capable of moving the eyes left and right. It also depends on wht version of Studio C you have. Alphas have the 32-movement bots, and so do the early Betas. Everything else has reduced movement. This page can also help you. http://www.showbizpizza.com/ptp/stages/index.html

If you watch "Making of Electric Feel, Part II" you can actually see a G2 Dook up close. He had fully articulated arms and a body that could turn to hit out-of-reach cymbals. His head also cocked to the side, but that has nothing to do with him drumming better.

To answer the compressor question, the compressor is not computer controlled in any way. All it does is fill up the tank to a certain pressure and shut off. When the pressure drops back down to a certain set point it fills it back up again.

About the compressor question, yes it is manual. However, there could be some SLIGHT programming with a dual pressure regulator, which could switch between air pressures from a signal, so there could be programming, but other than that everything is manual.

No there are no eyebrow movement on any of the character mechs (Whether CEC-Stage, Studio C, etc.)

The 2nd Gen. Dook was given wrist movements, elbow movements, and arm movements that would make for hundreds of combinations when it cane to drumming, thus making his drumming "better" or "more-advanced" than his 1st Gen. counterpart.

Hope that helps!!!

Studio C Alpha/Beta 32 movement bots have eyebrow up and down.

I love my Studio C alpha. I still have the original costume on the character. The extra movements really do add to the show and CEC looks friggin awesome.
