John Lennon wasn't the only Beatle to pass on, George Harrison died of cancer in 2001.

Today (Oct. 9) would have been John Lennon's 67th birthday.
The Beatles are easily one of the most successful and influential music groups in entertainment history. John Lennon's unexpected death immediately ended all speculations of the band ever having full-fledged reunions. From what I've discovered, this tragic event affected people (especially rock fans) the world over. The Fab Four quickly achieved global recognition soon after releasing its first record. As a result, Lennon was viewed by many as one of the world's greatest musicians. When he died, a legendary mark was left behind.
Lennon's legacy will live on forever!
