Question about Road Stages

On The Road Stage, are the robots full boddied but the rest of the body is hiding in the box that the robots are on?

The robots are half-bodied on the road stage.

Yeah, I don't see any purpose in having boxes though you can't see their legs.

The Road Stage was given to stores in 1990-1991, then the 2-stage were in stores in 1992-1993, the 1-stages wee in stores 1994-1995, and until 1997, the 2-stage returned.

So the 2-stage made a comeback in 1997? I always wondered why there seemed to be more 2-stages than 1-stages. I really like the 1-stages alot better than the 2-stages. It just looks more modern and fresh...and that gaudy pink tv isn't separating Chuck from his pals.
