Awesome old pix Danny..thanks for sharing!

It's nice to see the original floats...all of them were flat 2-D versions. Only the Blue Fairy, Casey Junior train and the Chinese Dragon were 3-D.

It's also interesting to see that the Blue Fairy and Casey Jr. train did not start off the parade as in recent years....they ended it!

I think they still were in the same spots just sthe pictures were not iin the right order. I know from a TV special on the Disney Channel one of the designers said the B.F. has led the parade from day 1.

Did you know the music for the Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade was done by the same composer who did the theme to the 1972-1975 CBS version of the game show "The Joker's Wild"?
