Who couldnt love SpecroMagic?? It is one of Disney's best parades in my opinion. When it came back to WDW 2 years ago, it brought back many memories from when i was younger. I wish Roger Rabbit was still in it, but other than that i have no problems with it. Way better than the MSEP! :)

SpectroMagic = YUCK! Hated it in '96, Hated it even more in '02. if ANY nightime parade is to go to Hong Kong...THIS my freinds is the one. Why? Because Disneyland Paris opened w/ the MSEP. Hong Kong does NOT have to follow in DLP's footsteps. I say, NEW PARK...NEW PARADE! Let WDW's MSEP stay state-side.

CEC3066...I thought you were a true Disney fan! :eek Furthermore, I specifically remember you telling me you loved this parade, and that it was "beautiful" or something...:rolleyes

Anyway, I also love this parade. Seen it twice in person, and it's always amazing...the SpectroMen are still a little weird, but the rest is awesome, and it has an excellent soundtrack - bought it on CD at WDW last March!

Supposedly it's going to be replaced next year with some sort of Fantillusion type parade...I for one will be very sad to see it go...:( :(

Actually BeachBear I probably DID say it was beautiful but after seeing the Main Street Electrical Parade 9 times, it's STILL my #1 favorite.

How do you compare SpectroMagic to the Main Street Electical Parade?

When it debuted in '91 it was the newest technology at that time that made it so popular, but (I hate to break it to ya Beach) but 13 years later (like the MSEP) Spectro's technology is outdated.

I sort-of agree Tom...I read some where that when MSEP was at WDW, people just referred to it as the Electric Light Parade...
