I'm kinda new on the board, so sorry if this has been asked before.

I have vauge memories of the Statue of Liberty at my local Showbiz, but I'm wondering if there's any video of the statue in action.

I think I read it was actually the Rolfe and Earl mech whith different clothes, but I'd love to see it in action.

Im not sure but I dont think she was a mech, I think she was just a statue that would replace Rolfe and Earl during fourth of july shows. Maybe some one else can explain her more.

Good questions... I'm pretty sure she was a different mech. I do know she was programmed and did move her head, arm, etc... I wonder too if they actually put in a whole new mech or, what would seem more cost effective, just installed her cosmetics over rolfe's mech.

I have a feeling it was a whole new mech. Knowing Creative, they probably wanted to make the most off of selling another bot.

Unfortunately David is wrong.

Liberty was indeed the Rolfe mech with some substantial modifications. The Biggest being that Earl was totally removed. (Ala Chuck E retrofit, kinda ironic!) He was replaced by a fake arm. Rolfe was covered in a material that gave the appearance of Lady Liberty's flowing robe. Also I'm wanting to say his head was removed to and replaced with Liberty's. But then again it may have been sitting on top of his.... I honeslty cannot remember which way it was for that part.

There is an installation manual somewhere that shows this. For anyone looking at old Rolfe's a tell tale sign that he was at one time a Liberty is to look for the airline splices at Earl.

Liberty had atleast 4 movements and possibly 5.
1: Head turn left
2: Head turn right
3: Body turn left
4: Body turn right
5: Arm (???)

CEI had nothing to do with this show. That is a REALLY long story, but the small of it is they had programmed it but then a late night drunken party or something and it got deleted... etc etc..
