Does anyone remember America Sings? It ran at Disneyland from 1974-1988. In my opinion, it was the greatest audio-animatronic musical review of all time, WAY better than the country bears. There were six stages at the center of a giant circular building. After each act, the entire building would rotate, carrying the audience in front of the next stage, and the next act would begin. The tight timing of the show, the numerous technical innovations, and the great music always amazed me.

I saw America Sings at Disneyland twice in 1979 when I visited the Los Angeles/Anaheim area.
Folksinger Burl Ives was the voice of the American Eagle in "America Sings".

Unfortunately, I was only 1 when it closed so I never got to experience it in person. However, I've seen several videos and love this attraction. I can almost hear the opening fanfare right now;)

I'm lucky to have videotaped the show just before it closed down forever. For anyone who is interested, there's a DVD available that documents the making of the attraction, including some video of the attraction itself.
