I really want to hear why people wouldn't want to go an amusement park for the people that maybe only go once and awhile. Why are you skipping a particular amusement park this year? I'm looking for non-theme park enthusiasts.

I go to the movie theatre once and awhile, and I'm not a complete over the top movie goer. It's just something I do once and awhile. That's the person I want to hear from about theme parks.

Is it the money? Is it because of something else?

They are a little out of my way so I would have to budget in travel and stuff... making it more expencive making it more the reasons i cant go... I love Holiday World but I will never go to KentuckyKingdom/SixFlags ever again.

One of the only reasons I'd not want to go is because if it's anything like Six Flags, chances are I'm not gonna be too excited. I'm not a huge fan of roller coasters and that's basically what they have. Plus expense of gas/food/etc. would be a lot.

It's too much money. For Six Flags Great Adventure, I have to go through tolls on the bridge (cheap carpool toll FTW) and NJ Turnpike, price of gas, the distance, price of food... it's too tempting to get ridiculously expensive Dippin' Dots or funnel cakes. Before the park entrance is Burger King and McDonald's though. :P

And then there's ticket prices. Since Great Adventure is so lucky to have "the tallest, fastest roller coaster", tickets are mad expensive (over $50 if you buy at the booths, but cheaper online). I could always check out Dorney Park, but it's too far in my opinion.

Don't forget high gas prices for taking your car to and from.

I've been there. I rode Test Track and it was really aweome. I almost rode Rockin' Roller Coaster but decided not to. I went a few years ago.
