Hi all! I am from Brisbane, Australia. Home of 1 of 2 CEC (called Charlie Cheese's here) in Australia. Both are no longer here, but I have vivid memories of parties there when I was a kid.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! :cec_thumbs:

junebug09az : Apart from the name, the stores were (both closed in the late 80's) identical to CEC during the balcony stage era.

Larry the Tech : Chuck would have been an unfortunate name at the time. Funny thing is that these days, I don't think anyone would batter an eyelid. You don't tend to hear people using the word in that context (then again, maybe is says more about the people I hang out with). As for the photos, I don't personally have any but will ask my parents next time I visit them. I am sure somebody took some photos at either my birthday or my brothers or sisters birthdays there. I hear that the pizza is a little more bland than it used to be. It's a shame, as I am sure I was addicted to the 80's recipe.

Hope you got my e-mail message via this forum, Charlie Cheese!

Since 2 CEC's as Charlie Cheese's existed in Australia, too bad the UK (England) never has any CEC locations yet.
