Ok, so I go to Botcon every year. Botcon is the annual official Transformers collectors convention. This year its in RI.
Now usually I room with a couple of friends and all is good on the hotel part. Well this year the doubles rooms are already booked up and my roomie and I already are trying to find a place to stay.
So we found a place called the Sportsmans Inn thats across the street from the con center and hey prices start at 40$ a night. Not bad. But, its also super sleazy as in there is a strip club in the basement. Ok, the whole place is adult themed.
Now I dont have a problem with it, in fact I find it pretty funny. However they dont take reservations, its first come first serve only with them.
So I have an odd choice of finding a decently priced room in the area or take a gamble on being able to get a room when I show up at the skeezy hotel. Also prolly taking a gamble on catching something...ew.
