Rockafire Explosion on MTV!

Hey everyone,

I work on a comedy show called "Human Giant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Giant)" on MTV and we are trying to shoot a few sketches involving the Rockafire Explosion. We are shooting in NY and are trying to work with the Funzone and the FunStation units. We are trying our best to refurbish the band, as some of them are in bad shape. I wish MTV's sister cable channel VH-1 did a 4th. "I Love the 1980's" miniseries to feature in one of the episodes (1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, or 1985) The Rock-afire Explosion.

Waitaminute... You bought the Funstation characters? That looks exactly like the Dook from Fun Station.

Well, it seems like the episode was already taped, because the characters are back in their spots at FunStation.

Yeah I'm guessing they only borrowed them or had them repaired for the show...

Hopefully the still will be cool and not degrading although if it IS degrading I'm sure Aaron Fechter will fly in to save their rep... Haha he's like their lawyer man LOL :laugh:

With any luck the script was cleaned up some (if this was actually taped). However I have some doubts just because the distance between where the skit was going and what most would consider appropriate was very far apart.

I'm all for seeing the RAE making a comeback, but it's gotta be done tastefully. I'm curious to know if this project ever made it past the idea stages - has anyone checked out Human Giant's websites?

I hope that Aaron Fector would come to Columbus Ohio sometime I would love to meet and talk with him aboutthe RAE... I would love like crazy to see the Rae come back... After all this is what got Chuck E his big break.... Without the RAE... chuck E would not even exist....
