Peter Tomarken, best known for hosting the 1983-1986 CBS game show "Press Your Luck" (currently seen in reruns on cable channel GSN) recently was killed at the age of 63 along with his wife in a plane crash near San Diego, California.

A devestating loss to the game show world indeed. I love Peter Tomarken's style of hosting game shows, from making the Whammy a pop culture icon, to becoming a game show legend, Peter was indeed a class act by himself, and he will be missed big time.
