I just scanned in the Entertainment '87 booklet...
It basically talks about various entertainment additions Chuck E. Cheese and Showbiz Pizza were looking into...
Live shows and Cyberstar are really the only things from this booklet that actually stood the test of time... LOL
It's in my Yahoo group if you're not a member joining's simple and I upload various things from time to time that may not be on this site. ;)

I have this booklet myself, and it is well worth looking over. Many of the ideas they had were actually great ones with a lot of promise ( entertainment wise) and it is too bad they did'nt go out on a limb and move beyond the test locations. Even in the mid 80's, CEC was still keen on trying out new entertainment concepts...but of course, they still has competitoin back then ( Showbiz), thus the NEED to do so! That is not the case today.....need it be said...LOL.
There are some rare photos contained in this 87' booklet...including the only close up shot known to exsist of the mega-rare "Yogi Bear" AA that was installed in place of Billy Bob in some Showbiz locations. Also shows some very interesting concept art for a very unique showroom layout, which interestingly was reminisent of Nolan Bushnell's original ideas for PTT's way back at the beginning.
I think the coolest thing besides that was the magic walls that contained bubbling water!
Definately worth checking out!
I remember at the 1st CheeseVention we gave copies of this away as prizes. One of them was on ebay i beleive. J has an original, which is where my copy came from. The photos contained on the pages were actual developed photo prints glued to the pages....as color printing/copying was far too expensive for such a booklet in 1987!

Yeah, these are often seen in fancy restaurants! It would've made CEC look really classy
You can buy these now at Spencers Gift type places and they actually change color too! :smokin:
