Is that your house, or is this a restaurant? Do you serve food (menu)?

Neither actually. Just a little ole country store out in the middle of nowhere. Makes Billy feels right at home. If you check the Media page you will see under the photos a pic of the store front... I'm in the process now of getting those gas pumps painted to be Smitty's Pumps!

As for a menu... No there is no menu but we do have a Pizza oven, Hot Dog cooker and Popcorn machine. So arrangements can be made to where you won't starve haha. Plus for birthdays we have a Fridge so that you can keep you cake cool and ice cream frozen for the party!

I think its so neat to be able to sit at the Showbiz tables, eat some pizza and watch the show! Nostalgia at its BEST! Can't wait to share the experience with more fans!:bb_happy2:

I told several members of my church about it, and they seem interested! But is there discounts for church groups or any kind of groups? Do you provide party goods for the birthday parties, too? :choochoo:

MissCritter:
Goodness I guess everyone would want one if they really knew how nice it was to see the Rock-afire in All there GLORY not run down at some old castle. I wish I could open them up everywhere...... noww

DannY:
That goes both ways... If you win the lottery before me then you can just put me on your bankroll and I'll open on up for you! Be interesting to see how I can manage two locations on opposite sides of the country.... Maybe you can buy me a jet to get around too?!

Number1Cec:
Just how large of a group are you talking about? I can make arrangments as necessary. You can contact me off board via the smittys website (look on the contact page for the email address).

I'd have to say half of my church and my youth group. I plan to come on my 18th birthday, if necessary. My whole class might want to come too. :bbwink:

Well thank you Jenn. I appreciate the compliment.

So far the largest party I've had out there had 25 attendees. Didn't seem to be too crowded, but I think that is approaching my limits. :bb_happy2: Theres only so many places I can seat people and they still have a good view of the show.

I think it would work nicely out there... We have all your needs covered. Pizza oven, Hot Dog Roaster, Popcorn machine, Mens and Womens restrooms... the whole nine yards!

We would also need plenty of Gasahol too....you know, for the adult crowd during the "RAE After Hours" segment...

LOL!!

I just got back from visiting Smitty's Super Service Station and I want to tell everybody that I had a mondo-excellent time. It was so terrific to see the Rock-afire Explosion gang close up for the first time in over a decade. I was given the option of selecting the shows that were to be presented to me during my visit. Each one I chose made me glow with lots of jubilance. The trip was well worth it!

Very impressive, Damon. I am so glad that I decided to come see you and the Rock-afire show. Nostalgia at its best indeed. Everything was just dandy!

Be sure to wear that shirt and show it off.... You are the first one to own an official Smitty's Super Service shirt! :rolfe:

These two photos are my top favorites that were taken during my visit to Damon's Rock-afire show. Once again, Mitzi is my fave!http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff70/livelystarking/102_0665.jpghttp://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff70/livelystarking/102_0720.jpg

I just thought I would let everyone here know that I recently paid my second visit to Damon's Rock-afire Explosion show. Again, I had mondo-excellent and rockingly splendid time. This visit seemed even better than the first one in part because the stages at his show now have working curtains. Other new additions have made it to the showroom also but the working curtain feature is probably the biggest difference between my recent visit (July 26) and my visit that happened last November. Every show segment presented to me was monumental and spectacular! The tables in the Smitty's Super Service Station showroom came from the Showbiz Pizza Place store that once existed in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Oddly enough, this specific Showbiz location was the one that I went to many times with my family as a little boy!

Here are some of the things that were done during my recent visit.....

Here I am at my favorite table. This could very well be the same table I sat at when I went to Showbiz Pizza Place for the very first time in 1984 when I was two years of age; a photo of this can be found in the gallery within the site.

Here I am posing with Mitzi, my favorite RAE group member.

Aren't the Beach Bowzers, the king, and Chuck E. all owned by CEC Entertainment? I thought Smitty's was a Rock-afire location.

Gah, well forgive me for posting in a somewhat dusty topic, but I just had to say that, aside from being ludicrously jealous of your fortune at owning such a beautiful show, but more importantly how much I admire you for putting in all that hard work and effort to keep something so wondrous alive. Were it not for the effort and care of people like you, and others who’ve compiled their own private shows, I really believe there would be no RAE left in the world…least none that people could see, and enjoy.

I know I’m still somewhat new to all this, and even though it’s been little over two weeks since discovering the RAE, my passion for them hasn’t the least bit dwindled, but actually grown somewhat stronger. I was disheartened at first missing out on the Rock-afire show here in CA, but what really picked me up was knowing a few shows still remain in the caring hands of fans, who graciously open them up every so often so not only can people who pretty much grown up with them see them again, but folks like me can hopefully see them as well. I don’t mean to get all mushy about it, I just like to give praise where it’s due, and you’re certainly someone who deserves it.

I do hope one day I can pay a visit, but I know until I can, it’ll still be around. I think that’s the best comfort of all, restaurants and business can disappear in the wink of an eye, the way the industries run, but you know something like this will always be there. Thank you for taking the time to assemble RAE, and sharing them with like minded folks out there. Even if I never get to see this particular show, I still appreciate knowing it’s out there, and in good hands.

First off don't worry about dusting off old topics... such is common here.

Now… I don’t know what to say.

Thank you for those humbling words. But don’t forget others like Chris, David, and Travis. We all share a love for this. Having our own personal shows proves that. And yes as long as we are around the RAE will be to. But then to look down the road I can see my son taking up where I leave off. There will be future generations that will continue to love these amazing creations.

I hope one day you do get to see the RAE. If you get to see mine all the better! But I will be around whenever you need me ;)

And thanks for reminding me how out of date that damn map is David… Someone needs to do something about that huh! HAHAHA :P

Yeah...so how many are REALLY left? Like four nationwide in family entertainment centers, and the rest are in private collector's houses?

So sad. Good thing there's fans around to keep 'em alive!

Oh I certainly didn’t forget them, I remember reading something about Chris mentioning having a show, other then that I don’t really know anybody else just yet! Certainly appreciate their contributions as well however; everyone who’d undertake such a seemingly daunting task as fixing up and caring for such a remarkable show deserves some gratitude!

And yea, that map really does need some updating; Rock-afire pizza shouldn’t even be on there…still puzzling me as to what they could’ve done with that show. But I imagine the worst.
