I don't know if there is a rule or not about how many images you can post, so I'll just post three to a post, since I noticed thats how its done most of the time.

Most of my very very recent stuff is digital, since I'm trying to get as comfortable as possible with the tablet - a lot of the studios are looking for people who are very comfortable with digital designing. Being currently out of work, it's kind of necessary :(

The pattern is from a collection of different textures I find around the internet. I keep a file of them so I can use them at will. I almost always use some sort of texture in my digital peices - at the LEAST a paper texture - just to make it look less flat (unless flat is what you're going for). Digital images have a tendency to do that.

As for the 70's Helen - I didn't have any reference :choochoo: I'd never seen the 70s Helen, so I wouldn't have been able to draw it anyway unless someone showed me some sort of photo reference! I tried looking around the site and I couldn't find anything. Could someone hook me up?

I have sketches for all the characters as babies... I did them this summer while I was bored at camp lol... but I only have helen and pasqually done.

Thanks! I just use the brushes that come automatically with CS2...I soup up a few though to look more like gauche brushes when I'm going for that look. But the image above was done all with brushes built into CS2. The snowflakes I found on a website.:fruit:

Okay. I just wanna say this. So don't get all worked up. Just relax and listen to me, please.

Any time I've given you attitude, whether it be intentional or not, just all stems back to when you came onto the forum and started acting nasty towards ME- saying that I was rude and that I don't respect other artists for their talent and all that... JUST because I didn't go through and comment every little piece of work posted on the board.
Well, hon... I LOVE art. I go to ART SCHOOL. It's just that my day is usually so busy that when I come home, I'm EXHAUSTED. I doodle all the time, and sometimes I'll scan them and post them up here. But after an entire school day, then coming home to babysit five kids, THEN somtimes having to go to work right after, the last thing I'd wanna do is sit here and critique art. It takes me all of ten seconds to post my own, but if I want to say something about ANOTHER person's work- well... EVERY artist wants a detailed comment/critique, do they not? Sometimes my brain just doesn't wanna think anymore at the end of the day- I'm just tired.

I'm generally a nice person and get along pretty well with the people here on the forum. I'd just really like to know what I said that was so HORRIBLE in this thread that automatically made you hate my guts?
I'm not yelling or anything. I'd just like an honest answer, please.

You know whta I said about artwork. Competition isn't required! You use art to express yourself, and to show it off to friends who'll care. It's not right to argue about whose art is better than the other, but to simply comment nicely on it. It's all about you, the artist, who draws or edits the pics. Don't let other people get you down and out. If you're all great artists, show it, don't be ashamed to give it a try. Kait, those are really good sketches. I would definitely ink and color those. Are Harmony's pigtails really like that? It's a very cute quirk. Good anatomy, but I would play with your expressions some. A lot of your characters are making the same face and it would be cool to see you explore what you can do with their faces and overall body attitudes. As opposed to just standing there and smiling, make their bodies and faces convey an attitude and tell a story. Really think about what your character is feeling. Otherwise, the character will look plastic and lifeless.

LOVE IT LOVE IT! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!:D:p That's the style Helen Henny I grew up with.:) Helen at this time already sports her green eye's and still uses the purple eyelids. which most of us already know that lol. Our three stage Helen Henny sports a very bright aqua blue eyecolor with her purple eyelids/eyeshadow color. her rubber mask had a green eyeshadow color. then came mid 90's then her mask was vary similar to the one with bright green eyeshadow. but looked more friendler looking with light blueish green eyeshadow. while her eyelids are still purple.:) Our three stage Helen Henny character had purplish pink seqin scrungies till late 90's. that's when ours got the purplish pink hairbow bows. The white and black feathers are a classic.:D

Awesome new stuff CEC383. I have for you Mr. Munch. In full color! He's even got the MMBB logo behind him. Soon you'll be able to connect all the band member's pictures together and make a stage photo... (if anyone's payed notice, my Helen (full body in 80s dress and the first I posted of her), Jasper and Munch images are all facing the same way because in the picture I have....they are all looking at Pasqually!!! Crazy guy musta been bustin' some moves and bugging out again....

It's one of the plastic faced Munch animatronics yes. The picture I based it on is the Munch with a more onion-shaped head. He seems so much less scary. The 1-stage animatronics aren't my cup of tea... But it is still the five characters at least.
