Just wanted to say hey. This place is great! A wealth of information!
A little background:
I started as Assistant Tech in the early 90's, moved my way up to Tech MGR shortly there after. A year after that I moved to Operations and then a year after that moved up to General Manager where I stayed until I left.
I have worked in the following stores Full Time or just subbing:
Grand Rapids (Walker)(3 Stage)
Grand Rapids (Eastbrook)(3 Stage)
Cleveland (North Olmsted)(2 Stage)
Columbus (Macsway)(2 Stage)
Columbus (Other one that wasn't Dublin)(3 Stage?)
Dayton (Miamisburg)(3 Stage)
Brockton (Massachusetts)(2 Stage) [Now Closed]
It was a fun ride while it lasted, and some times I miss it.

I was there back in 2002 and the place was a pint size dump, can you recall what it was like when you worked there?

I left in 97 or so. I took over a big mess and cleaned it up pretty well considering. At some point they made one of my old kitchen guys GM. Nice guy but wasn't up for the task. That might have been around 2002.
I went back to Brockton later after living in Florida for quite some time and I was shocked to see it gone. I think CEC corporate probably gave up on that store just as the surroundings were getting nice. When I was there the Mall was a ghost town.

Personality conflicts with the DM. I know there are two sides to every story, but he ended up getting fired and then later arrested for stealing supplies from one of his old restaurants to use in a restaurant he opened himself.
There is no love lost for this guy. :D
(I typically got along with most of my DMs)

Wow, I had the same thing happen with a "replacement" GM John Hernandez! LOL His father/family owned another pizza restaurant here in town and he was taking dough and sauce and toppings over to that place to "store in their freezer cause they had space" *ROLLS EYES* All the while you could get a Chuck E Cheese's pizza over there for like $5! Haha ok that part's funny...
So anyway, this guy just pissed me off cause he was one of these preacher types and acted all " Mr. Morals" and made us seem like degenerates for like kissing or smoking...(petty high school crap) then he's stealing and even voiding out birthdays which you know can amount to like $500 or $600 and pocketing the cash...
