I saw a video of the Save The Colander Telethon, and one of the segments showed a new Mitzi robot. Its arms could come in front of it, and it had a hip bend movement. Did that ever make it into Showbiz restaurants? And if so, is there a Helen out there whose upper body movements drunkenly tip her from side to side?

Unfortunately, neither the 2nd Gen Mitzi or Dook ever made it to stores. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the 2nd Gen bots were one-of-a-kind prototypes.

Sorta correct. There were 3 or 4 2nd gen Dooks, and 1 or 2 2nd gen Mitzis.

Yup that's right,

There's 1 prototype of the 2nd gen Mitzi (currently resting in CEI's Mask making room) and 4 prototype 2nd gen Dooks (currently in the room at CEI with the greybox computers).

You can see all the 2nd gen Dooks here:

And the 2nd Mitzi here:

Awesome pics! Since the Dooks aren't one-of-a-kind, do they have a pricetag?

I don't think so... maybe that's changed, but at last check Aaron was planning on keeping them to work with down the line. I think he wants to get them programmed at some point.

What were the special movements on the 2nd-gen Dook bots?

There's video somewhere of one working. Maybe its on the 2006 Tour dvd when we watched old videos at aarons house.

Anyhow, we think programming gen 1 dook is hard,, I would CRY to have tried programming gen 2 to some music! HAHHA

Yes David

Its in the RARE VIDEOS Section of the DVD. :bb_happy2: I think there is also a couple second look at it on the PROMO which is in the Video Archive on SP.com

It wasn't even as complete in the video as it is in person tho! The one on the video didnt have the head! Such ashame Aaron doesn't have any more video! He told us during the tour that what we watched was the ONLY known existing video of the 2nd gen Dook running!
