"In The Loop"
On New Years day I cuddle round,
And watch bowl players get knocked down.
I watch them make their fancy plays.
Like they should have done in their high school
days.
I hear the refs make all the calls,
And see some players even miss the ball.
And furthermore i'm glad I see,
The games from inside of me.
In the spring baseball comes
I see players hit home runs.
I eat popcorn, Hot Dogs and Cracker Jacks,
And watch ball players hit hard whacks.
Curveballs, strikes and fastballs too,
Any way to strike 'em out, pitchers don't loose.
People cheering in the stands,
Cheering for their favorite man.
Baseball's over now and then,
New Year's comes 'round once again, Then.......
