Effective this Fall 2006: Katie Couric leaves NBC's Today Show for the CBS Evening News while Merideth Vierra leaves ABC's The View (and the syndicated Who Wants to Be a Millionaire whether or not it gets canned or finds a new host) to move to NBC's Today Show taking Katie Couric's place.
