Interesting stages!

I came across the Showbiz Pizza "Fancy Parties" commercial on Youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=J2kIpXH-nKU&mode=related&search) and in the background of some shots is a rather interesting-looking RAE stage:

Billy Bob has a gold rain curtain behind him.
The center stage scenery is just a black background with a neon sign.
Center stage seems like it was pulled right out of Grease.
Dook appears to be wearing a cowboy hat though we never get a good look at him.
There are no shots of the Rolfe and Earl stage or Looney Bird, so I can't tell what's different about them.Was this stage actually used in a store or just built for the commercial?

Also there's a RAE record that shows the RAE bots in a recording studio:

Anyone have any information about this particular setup? There doesn't seem to be much room for air tubes under the platform, so I assume they just bolted the characters to the platform and just positioned them accordingly.

Yeah that commerical is definetely a weird one. Not sure if it was just a test stage or what... someone I think had mentioned it being filmed on a studio set, but not sure if that's true.

SPP made a few different backgrounds for 'test' stages from what I've gathered. The Yogi bear stage was tested in 3 stores, and they even went so far as to do a complete 'Magic' themed show where everyone was in fancy tuxes... not sure of the story on that one either, only that there's photos of it that originated from CEC HQ.

And for the record pic - that was just a staged shot at the old CEI recording studio that's still in Orlando (or was as of last year). It still has the old wood panneling and stone work in it. Somewhere I have a photo of the voice actors performing some (rock-afire) music in the same studio... I should dig around and post that photo.

As a kid though I really thought there was a ShowBiz with that studio Rock-afire in it. Seriously too - I ended up dragging my parents to every SPP in the Denver area trying to find it. :bbembarassed:

I'm pretty shure for the vid 1. Also worked w/ CEC. 2. They use the wierd stages for reasoms unknown

That picture was taken at a recording studio down the street from CEI that Aaron used to own. what that is a picture of is just the robots posing.
