IDk if anyone who has shows from 1997 has noticed this but...
I was noticing today that the August 1997 show is in stereo! I was wondering if this was because of The Awesome Adventure Machine Show....? And the soon to come Studio C. Were they maybe testing different ideas or?
I remember how the AAM show was presented in Dolby Digital.... :choochoo:

I would say yes, primarily because of the introduction of the Awesome Adventure Machine stage/new Studio C concepts back at that time. Since the AAM had the twin sceens showing the other characters in video form, it makes perfect sense to go the extra step and play with the audio. This would make the other characters on the screens have a bit more "presence"....
The original PTT shows had a lot of audio play in them, right from the start. Each character had a speaker below them so it seemed as though their voices were all coming directly from the character....instead of some random speakers on the Showroom wall/ceiling like today. It made it more "real". It's pretty cool to go through those original Diagnostic reels and listen to the "white noise" tests for each of the speakers. Everyone had one, including the Birds.
