Awesome. After years of never going, I am getting to go first week of Dec. I am looking forward to it. While we were in Orlando this weekend I did drop by Disney's All Star Music resort with DSFII and his friend and got a daquari just to check it out.

Aww Captian! Too bad you were'nt there 4 weeks ago as i was staying at that hotel last month!

I always stay at All Star Music...it's the best one out of all the value resorts. Did you get to check out the game room? They have some neat stuff, plus the Arcade Cards i was raving about in another thread.

I stuck my head in. We just walked around, checked out the gift shop, got a daquari and walked around by the pool and things like that. We were staying at the Polynesian resort or whatever it is called and now we are doing the one with the live zebras and stuff behind it. Watching zebras eating is apparently very exciting... I don't know my friends planned it I am just along for the ride. I want to see the muppets 3-D show and the country bears. If I get to do those 2 things I can die happy. The rest is bonus.

Alright, time to share my WDW trip, including the highlights:

*Tower of Terror:
The first Tower of Terror ride out of the 4 times I rode it I believe, we rode with a very wild senior class(my sisters and I were the only regular people besides these senior kids in the elevator)and damn they screamed the whole freaking way through the ride, had some hot girls there, but the noise level of these people were just wow...
Another funny thing was the pre-movie before you enter the ride area, we had this very creepy elevator guy named Joe in the room with us every time, very great actor and hilarious even I can't explain it.:lol :lol :lol

*Space Mountain:
After many years of fearing I finally had the nuts to go on this ride, and loved it, and don't get why I missed out all these years, For people with good eye vision like me you can totelly tell where this ride turns too.

*Chip & Dale in MK:
On one of the very late nights at MK's extra magic hours(park opened til 3 AM!) characters came out around the castle for greets and these really good looking girls came by for Chip and Dale, and just like I guessed it, the two frisky chipmunks went berserk over these girls.:smokin

*Expedition Everest:
To Jasper, I suggest getting down to FL to visit WDW agian in the future if you are a huge fan of Disney thrill ride attractions, this is something you would loved!
This ride rocked, the yetti animatronic was cool and huge, and the design of the outside was really nice and looked exactly like Mt. Everest but with tracks you can see. This has some of the hugest hills Disney has probably done for a coaster.

Seeing some brand new attractions like Soarin and Everest, and riding Space Mountain for the first time, not to mention the extra magic hours it went fantastic.

One last highlight I want to share with everyone is something new that seems to be a test called "Disney Magic Express", a bus that will take you from the Orlando airport to your hotel. On they way there they show a movie on all these monitors getting you pumped for your trip, telling your new must sees and do's etc. Funny thing was the Disney characters starring in the film, taking the bus from the airport and getting to the hotel, feature the Fab five, and some other characters like Huey, Dewey, Louie, Scrooge, Daisy, Hook, Smee, Cruella, Stitch, Lilo, Genie and a few others. All costume version and there was some funny acting from it. On the way back from the hotel to go to the airport another movie is shown revealing memories and such. Very cool thing, if the test flops, I'll be known to be one of the people who got to experience the new Disney Express, it delivers from your local airport back at home, your bags to the disney hotel, no picking up luggage at the airport when you arrive for Orlando, just take the bus and you're gone there. Thought it was real neat.:D

The mountain actually does not represent Mt. Everest. It represents the "Forbidden Mountain", which is the smaller mountain range the "steam donkey" train goes through on the way to Everest. The "steam donkey" trains were built by villagers to transport tea that is grown in the village of Serka Zong at the base of the ride. It just so happens that this is the mountain that the Yeti guards and protects... therefore your "steam donkey" never makes it to Everest.

That's why the full title of the ride is "Expedition Everest: The Legend of the Forbidden Mountain."
