Brian and Kait have been hard at work planning our replacement for Radio Showbiz, and tonight we took down the Radio Showbiz website and we are officially unveiling SPTV. The new section is still under construction, as are many parts of the site, but we wanted to give you more of a preview of what is coming since Radio Showbiz is now a thing of the past.
Also, while I'm making an announcement I wanted to make a few more small changes known.
My e-mail has finally been switched to aaron@showbizpizza.com (aaron@showbizpizza.com) so please contact me there from now on. I've been asked why I never changed the contact, and it was to make the transition easier. It's brought more confusion though, so over the past few days I've been switching it across my areas. It isn't updated on the reviews yet, but bare with me and it will be done soon.
Also, since Radio Showbiz is a thing of the past, it was time for another change. Brian (ChuckEZone) our assistant webmaster in charge of SPTV now has asked his e-mail address be changed with part of the updates. You may now contact Brian at brian@showbizpizza.com (brian@showbizpizza.com), and I'm sure he'll love me inviting everyone to e-mail him whenever you wish. ;) (I figured this was better than his myspace mailbox being full, like mine always is.) Please do not flood him with requests about SPTV until we make further announcements. Questions or concerns can always be posted here on the board or by e-mailing Brian directly, however we ask that requests and fan submissions are held back for a little while longer.
On that note, we'd like to thank everyone again for their continued support of Radio Showbiz last week on our Blowout and the Encore, everyone who was there those nights, thank you for your support in our last (live) hours. Radio Showbiz will be missed, but we are very excited about SPTV... and hey, sometimes change is good. ;)
I promise one day my announcements will be short, but while I'm still here I thought I'd mention again if you have signed up with an AOL or Netscape e-mail address, you will not be able to post until you e-mail me to prove you are a valid person. We have had a slight increase in spam over the last few weeks, but I anticipated that would happen since the forum's activity is so high now. I have about ten (10) users waiting in moderation, and I will not approve them until I recieve e-mails.
We do apologize for anyone that has seen any of the ads posted, we try to ensure they are removed as soon as possible. Please be mindful we cannot man the board 24/7, so it's not always instant things are removed or taken care of. Rest assured though a staff member will take proper steps to ensure its gone as soon as possible.
Again, thank you all for your continued patience and support.
To those of you going to CheeseVention4, on behalf of Travis, myself and the SP.com staff, have a great time and travel safely! We will miss you all and cannot wait to have you all back! We know some are leaving before others so I wanted this to go out while most of you are still around. Happy 30th Chuck, and many more!
