It's mandatory. I may need to make that clear in the next newsletter.

thanks Micheal for the info!:p so what happens if the tech doesn't want to disable the curtains. do they have to disable the random movements in order for the curtains to open/close or could they stll keep the random movements?:p

As Michael said, it's mandatory.

All Studio C's with real curtains must enable them again. Why some Betas might not use curtains, is because newer Betas come with fake curtains that do not have tracks, so they're just decoration. If you look at the Studio C and see tracks up on the ceiling, then that store should be closing their curtains. If you do not see the tracks, that's why the curtains aren't closing.

Hope that was clear enough.

My 2 cents...
I think it should be mandatory that ALL stores start using curtains again, this was the stupidest idea to stop using them. I cant get over how stupid that idea was... it really urks me and I seriously doubt CEC has saved tons of money by not using the curtains.

So Studio C Alpha curtians most be in use, but they still won't use them for 1/2/3 stages? That makes no sense.

Your right Paul it makes no sence, although alot of what CEC is doing dosent make alot of sense so this just follows the pattern. I visited CEC for the first time in 8 years over the weekend and I will never go back. I will not take my kids there and waste any of my money on the joke it has become. Its very sad.

You know, once a upon a time when Showbiz and Chuck E. Cheese were two seperate things the CEC characters didn't have random movements or curtains. They just closed their eyes and sat there idle. King stood there and Dolli sat behind her piano with her eyes closed and life was just fine. There were no monitors with commercials or anything. They just sat there with their eyes shut until the next performance and it just wasn't a big deal. The 2 stage characters are the exact same bots. They'd be just fine sitting there with their eyes shut until the show starts up again. There is no reason that same logic can't apply to the other shows. I mean even with them looking around the room there are still 2 Chuck E. Cheeses when the walk around comes out.

I seem to recall the balcony shows didn't always have random movements (right?). It just made me anticipate when the next show would start even more... and this was way before the stupid Cyberstar countdown.
