To the many fine cast members who share this forum... (and those of you who frequent the parks) which day is less crowded? Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.

Hmm, since I go there pretty much every month, I would have to say either Monday or Tuesday since those are school days, so the locals won't be around. But keep in mind, for some places, were closing in on the end of school, so everyday is going to be crowded, hence summer vocation.

Mister Menutia will indeed be about ......:)

I know at WDW, Monday's are busy days for some odd reason. The slowest days are Tuesday through Thursday.

At DL, since 80% of their business is locals i would assume Sunday's would be busier then weekdays. It's the old "Sunday in the park" tradition.

The key to success is to get into the Park EARLY regardless of the day. That way, you get in the gate to start with and you don't run the risk of all the Fast Passes being out for the rides you want them for.

I have the patterns down pretty good for this coast's Disney Park...but i don't know how similar the pattern may be out in CA. Here at WDW, most of their business is tourists and people visiting from other countries. At DL, most of the business is locals and folks from Asia from what i have learned over the years.

I guess we will just have to wait and see....

Just learned over on one of the Disney Park fan message forums that the dreaded "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" Premiere Event at DisneyLand is Friday May 19th. I was REALLY hoping to avoid this, as this will surely mean DL will be swaming with teens and fans of the POTC movies. This also can mean Sunday at DL will be a zoo......as all those folks coming for the Event Friday at DL will surely stay the weekend.

Word of advice: Be safe and be sure to re-check and CONFIRM your Days Inn reservations! Wilth all these people in the area that usually flock to these special Premieres, hotels in the area will probably be full up. Be sure you have your room!

Man i was hoping this POTC thing would be the following weekend.....grr......

eh I'm not worried. If they do overbook, Matt,Anna (chuckette) & I will politly say "uh i'm affraid there's some mistake I think they meant to put you in a room on street level. at wich point we'll throw them out on the sidewalk w/ no blankets or pillows & say "Have a nice night"

Yeah...I found out about the Pirate premire and was horrified. It's gonna be freakin' nuts on Sunday. Hopefully we can get there when the park opens....as for hotels, I'f you don't have one already, you're probably out of luck. I just got mine on Saturday last week, and I'm not staying at Days Inn, because it was already all booked up. Most hotels are. I'm about 7 miles away from the rest of you guys at this part of the trip.

Back when i was planning the weekend in May to do CV4 on, i wanted to choose the one most near the actual birthdate of Chuck E. ( May 22nd). With PTT's opening day as May 17th, i chose the weekend of the 18/19/20 as it would avoid the insane Memorial Day weekend crush and at the time, the Pirates 3 Movie Premiere Event was slated for mid-April! Now my fear has been confirmed, and i was really hoping to avoid it.

Oh well...too late now. Sunday at DL will be very busy i am guessing. Monday and Tuesday may well be quieter once the locals go back to school/work.

We will play it by ear. Regardless, we will have a BLAST!! If DL is too packed, we can always hit DCA ( Disney's California Adventure) across the street as that place is never packed ( for good reason i am told...)

I'm still looking forward to the fun though!

Yeah Sunday will probably be a mad house, but Jenn... I gotta tell you that the CA park seemed way more crowded than in Florida (at least all the times I've visited) because the aisles are so much more narrow. It seems a lot smaller, and I think when they built the one in Florida they were able to stretch everything out much better since they had the space.

But even if Sunday is busy, we have a nice full day as the park will be open later in the evening. Might be miserable, but even if the lines are long we should have ample time to hit just about everything.

That's what I'm hoping. I really want to see everything there, but with the way it'll probably be, ti will be next to impossible.

Thr trick is to hit the top attractions/rides EARLY or during the afternoon parade. This is when the lines for even the hardest things to get on will be smaller.

I would recommend we have a plan of action. Once we are in the Park i think we should pick up Fast Passes to a ride while hitting another one. Must do's that i would like to do right away are Indiana Jones Adventure, POTC, Haunted Mansion, and maybe the Matterhorn. I may also do Splash Mountian, but i will have to see how i feel about it that day. I may opt out ( i don't like the drop). It would be best to do these BEFORE we eat......if you catch my drift!

Other attractions i would like to hit are the non-WDW attractions ( Toad, Alice, Pinnochio, , etc.) as well as Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin ( a MUST DO for me..avid Roger fan that i am!). The original Tiki Birds is also a must do for me. The WDW version that was changed recently to try to make it more "hip" SUCKS to put it mildly...lol.

The "Parade of Dreams" held around 3pm is a absolute MUST. Trust me on this. It is by far and away THE best parade the DIsney Company has EVER done ( 2nd only to the original Main Street Electrical Parade). It is a must see. Same goes for the nightly fireworks presentation, "Remember, Dreams Come True". Absolutely the best fireworks show ever done on Disney Property in my mind, next to our coasts' "Illuminations" at EPCOT.

If we do all the "major" rides/attractions early in the day before lunch, or at least what we can, i think things will go fine. Either way we will all still have a great time as we will all be there...together!

hey now we musn't forget that ride w/ that song that does not get out of your head for the rest of the day. the recent WDW revamp of this ride is nice but w/o the dolls in the clock it lacks alot
