I am going to CV4 !

Alright... as a few of you know I was having trouble getting things together for CV4, but everything worked out. I am going to be able to go now, and my flight is already booked. If anyone hasn't booked their flight yet I highly suggest Travelocity. I think I only paid $330 total. I want to go ahead and thank bzeir for carpooling me to LA too. I think the only thing I have left to figure out is how I am getting to and from the aiport. I think I am going to end up taking a cab. Can't be that bad ? Anyone here know anything about cabs in Cali ?

They can get pricey, but i think i read somewhere that the typical cab ride from LA to Anahiem ( or vise-versa) is around $40.

Avoid "unlicensed" cabs too....i have read there are many "false" cars-for-hire in that area and you don't want to be taken on a bad ride and get raked over the coals price wise. ALWAYS travel in a well marked, clearly "real" cab. Also be sure to inquire about the standard rate. "false" cabs will leave you in the dark, while genuine cabs will have them clearly stated and posted where you can see them.

Just some safety tips....and it will help you avoid being tricked into paying some ridiculous fee.
